A late round DT being the best at camp is concerning to me bro. I'd give linval Joseph a call just for a depth piece to add in the rotation
What I saw was that he needs to work on his hand techniques. He needs to strike the linemen and learn when to chop, when to rip, and not allow people to get both hands center mass. He has no leverage if the blocker can get both hands between his. If he learns to defeat hands and gain the leverage, he can be a good 1 tech. But the question is if he is NFL strong right now? That's going to be the deciding factor
J Bryant! My guy. Yep hand techniques will be key as well as his endurance late in games. We will have to see about his strength going up against the OL come training camp 💯
@@JCCowboysNetwork I agree about his endurance but that takes time. That's where I expect him to hit the rookie wall. He has to learn to train for that. But if he can be strong when he's bout there in the rotation.... I'll be satisfied. Oddly enough, Mazi had the technique but then DQ changed everything for him last year.

This what the COWBOYS needed so badly now is a run stopper, it ain't about just rusher the QB and if the COWBOYS don't have that run stop this season, it won't matter who's the DQ. The COWBOYS need to be more physical and not just rely on speed and pressuring the QB.
I like Rodgers to step in and be a day one defensive tackle on our front line. We are looking for a name in defensive tackle but we need to let the young man play beside OSA and our de line in the trenches will be dominate against the run because D LAW is a hell of a run stopper, he just needed some help and Mr Rodgers is that dude.
He'll help but remember the addition of Kendricks who from his LB position can stop the run and Mazi Smith has the most to prove

Great video but slightly disagree with what we want from a nose, particularly in Dallas. We've had edge rushers to spare for the last 5-7 years but could never find 1 or 2 guys that can hold their ground in the A gaps and that's been our heel in playoffs for a long time. I want Rogers and Mazi to push pass rush out their minds and focus on holding down those middle gaps.
