- Its been a few weeks since the announcement of the upcoming title: Pokemon Legends Z-A. We've had some time to ponder, and now we finally ask the big question: What IS this game supposed to be? Lets chit chat!

Floette ran away because it realized the sacrifice AZ made to bring it back to life and use the weapon. The energy of power. They were drained of their life force and it caused so much destruction
Based on the style of the teaser trailer I suspect that, opposed to "Legends: Arceus", this game might actually take place in the future instead of the past.
I can imagine how "future vs. past" is an idea they want to continue with, considering Scarlet/Violet didn't come out as the fully developed Pokemon games they wanted to create.
I can see how "Legends: Arceus" explores the past and "Legends: Z-A" will explore the future.
Additionally, I kind of hope this to be the case and that the majority of the game takes place in the city, that is now (similarly to GTA games) actually a city that feels large and is filled with things to do.
I'm glad they decided on a longer release period, meaning they've seemingly learned that the direction they're taking regarding the scale of the games, takes more time to develop properly.
I am (since ORAS) finally a bit excited for a new game again :-)
I’m really excited for legends mechanics coming back, physical moves actually making contact against the pokemon you’re facing
Catching mechanic, shinies and most especially new Pokémon/ legendaries
Just give me online battles and this game would literally be perfect
I think the story will be more of the aftermath of team flare
My biggest hope is that there is alot of character customization. Sword and shield had a lot of clothing and i found it fun to dress my character how I wanted. When I saw that there was no customization in Violet and Scarlett I was so disappointed to the point that i didn't buy the game.
i hope it finally has voice acting.
Lets be real, nobody expects that.

Funnily enough, Monster Hunter Stories 2 has voice acting and I ended up switching it to Japanese with subtitles as I found it so annoying.
I really do wonder how exactly it'll play out if the entire game is set within the city of Lumiose as I've seen people mention online.
Personally, I think we'll have a much bigger home base than the one in Hisui with equally big & diverse places we can travel to and explore.
For this 2nd entry in Legends titles they'll build upon and improve from PLA.
You’re probably right. I imagine that we’re going to be doing what we THOUGHT legends arceus was gonna be and actually build up Lumios city
It seems Nintendo said it was set entirely in Lumiose City, and the Pokemon Company said Lumiose City and surrounding areas so I guess we just gotta wait and see
It'd be cool if the opening was a cutscene of AZ firing the weapon then going "shit...I fucked up bad"

An idea I had for how the game could work entirely in Lumiose, would be in a future setting. Lumiose would have large walls surrounding it, with Pokemon and eventually Zygarde (angry by the redevelopment) attacking the walls. Only the expidition team could go outside the walls, but not too far, to try to calm the Pokemon. (Sooo basically Attack on Titan😂)
I just want a boss battle with new forms of Xerneas and Yveltal. I wanna have to dodge Geomancy and Oblivion Wing to save my own life.
I just hope that the Frostbite status come and stays this time, not only does it buff ice types more but now we can give special attackers a nerf.
Otherwise im gonna keep expectations low so ill be inpressed when it succeeds.
Also please for the love of arceus dont make moves craftable, that was annoying. It worked fine for potions and pokeballs.
Unfortunately, after scarlet and violet there’s now a very good chance of that, I also hope this isnt the case 😭
Though the biggest question is.....what will we be doing in Legends Z-A? It hints to urban redevelopment....so are we helping renovate the city by collecting materials and pokemon to help increase the work rate that the city gets finished? Or something else?@@SoulStoryMode
I'll be honest legends isn't my thing however because Pokemon has forced my hand I'm open to giving it a shot

You're making a lot of assumptions based on just one previous game. There are a lot of ways that this could be different.

@@SoulStoryMode that's why we need to be careful about assuming it will be similar in a wide range of different ways. There could be lots of ways that za might be different from arceus.
