  • In this video I install Shorty levers on my Aprilla 660 Tuono. The process is easy and straightforward. If you have any questions, please put them in the comment section. The levers did come with spacer washers, we ended up not needing them. I ordered expensive levers and the set below from Amazon that were a lot cheaper. After comparing the two sets of levers there was barely a difference. If I was racing I would keep the more expensive ones, but this is purely a pleasure bike. The installation for either set is the same.

    Levers look great! Good choice.
I am a short rider, too. My inseam is only 27" (measured top of leg to the floor.) I have chosen to lower a lot of bikes over 25 years of riding. I never missed the decreased ground clearance and never found any objectionable handling/suspension changes. But I have always taken my bikes to reputable shops for the modifications.
I'll be interested to see what lowering links you use as I'm considering a Tuono 660 purchase. Will you go for more than one inch?
Also, I am curious about your boots. I wear the Daytona Max Sport GTX boot which has an internal lift. They're not the most stylish, but they have every other feature I could ever want. I've worn lifted Daytona boots for years. Absolutely no problems with shifting on sportbikes or any other types.
Really nice bike! Have fun, ride safe.

I have a Lust racing lowering kit, requires the removal and replacement of the spring seat. Still on the fence about doing it. Thanks for watching!

How is that bike around the city/town? I like the upright handle bars.

Very comfortable, upright riding position is great. Low end torque and quick shifter make it the easiest bike I have to ride. Just needs a larger windscreen. Thanks for watching!
