ABOUT LISA:
Lisa is arguably the happiest music teacher on the planet. We can’t prove it, but we’d be willing to bet on it. With a background in classical and contemporary vocal training and a love for popular music, Lisa Witt focuses on helping her students uncover their own, unique sound and develop their voice with simple routines and tips for faster results. Her personal singing journey started filled with intimidation and fear about “singing out loud”. Lisa’s desire to find confidence led her to discover HOW her voice works (physically) and gained newfound confidence and passion to perform in her discoveries that she now shares in her lessons. Lisa is a singer-songwriter who values singing as a therapeutic release for communicating harder emotions.

I just wanted to say thank you Lisa. You're ability to be quirky but serious is just the person to push me. I used to sing and play keyboards and guitar, but that all ended 3 1/2 years ago when I had a stroke. I'm hoping to build my skills back from the ground up. Your video lessons are inspiring!!!
HELLOOOOOOO Lisa ! I'm french but I'm in love with your joyfulness and beautiful soul ! Such a nice way to learn singing ! I'm 58 years old and all beginner, I think I'm gonna learn with you even if it's harder in english for me.... 🥰

The pronunciation exercise is interesting. Being English and having been taught diction and annunciation as a child, I was fascinated to find out how much it changed my ability to just let the song flow. 👍🏻
You are AWESOME Lisa. I love your enthusiasm and excellent teaching style. I have learned the piano from your videos and picked up some great vocal tips. Keep up the great work!

Thanks lisaaaaaaa
you are amazing
Outstanding! Thank you! Roger (having trouble with the bubble exercise tho:)
Me too😔
@@flourishsunshine9296 Yes, I cannot seem to do that with my lips. Alternates?
“your body knows how to breathe” oh I wish
Hello it was nice, I need explanation on breath control and breathing
I can feel clearly now , my new voice
What if you can't do the bubble sound then what ?
THATS WHAT IM SAYING
Instead try humming through a straw. It’s even better if you put the straw in a cup with a small amount of water and you can keep the water bubbling at a slow, steady rate.
If you can trill your Rs (like in Spanish), that can be a good alternative, too.
For some people it’s easy to lip buzz (what she calls a bubble sound), but it took me 10 years of fairly serious classical vocal study to master it! 😂
Thank you! This is so informative!
You are welcome!!!
Thank you, Lisa! A question: how you the transition cord? I'd love to learn them. Thanks in advance!!! See you on Pianote!🎶🎶
Transition between the chords as I play the scales? I play the chord , then move up (or down) a half step - play that chord and then continue on that way !
@@SingeoOfficial Thank you! It'll be useful to learn along the scales. ☺️🎶🎶☺️
Does the bubble has anything to do with breathing cux once my breathing is cut It goes off
10:40-11:23 This part is very important.
What about singing with your headphones on is that going to help you with some of the voice that you have?
you are so charming as is your voice :D
Thank you, i"m sooo glad that i don"t have to focus on the diaphragm anymore, it's natural going well. I 😅
Hellooooo! 😁
Hmmm, ill come back to this, maybe trying this slightly tipsy at 2 AM wont make me popular with neighbors, Ill be back soon you'll see. Ill send a fully armed battalion to remind me to do that. I used to sing when I was 10-14 in my camps group, I feel with some training I might be decent, at least for what I need, home production of house and other. Any tips for a complete noob?
🌹🧡🧡👼🏻😘
Didn't know how many body parts are needed to sing good, much less well.
Only have one fully functioning lung, injued throat, hernia and botched deviated septum. Leaves me behind the 8 ball. 😮😢
Okay but I am a pirate, I can't eliminate my Rs.
