The first video that didnt just show a chart and talk about entering and exiting and expect everyone to know what tf they talkin bout . @@helloimtokki because the way I charted it that wasn’t supposed to happen. It was clear to me that I had done something wrong.
And after going back and looking at it I didn’t zoom out far enough in that situation. It hit a supply zone right before open so it sold off hard
How long could have you waited?
That one was a same day expiration so I had until the end of the day. But if I did that it would have been completely worthless@@John-jq3gg

Not financial advice but its not a smart idea to hop in a contract that expires the next day or any days close (unless u know what your doing) the P/L moves fast so use limit orders when trading

I loved How real this video was!!! and believe it or not it actually made me confident about my wanting to trade simply because of your reaction to the loss. It tells me that you know that's how the market works, it's just that "today" the plan did not work but you'll get back at it again. Some days you lose, some days you win. And you actually showed us what shares you were attempting to trade, not just a chart.

Fantastic! I'm a visual so I really appreciate how you show your screen...LIVE ....😅 Are you able to break down the gains and losses a bit more for a beginner like me? Like what were you aiming to gain? What did you lose? ect.
Glad that you found the video to be helpful! And no, not able to go over this specific trade since it was about a month ago. But I belive I lost about $250 between the contracts that I purchased, and there wasn't a specific dollar amount I was looking for, I was just trying to trade my plan. And I was going to sell once it went up to my price target.
Unfortunately the trade immediately went against me so I exited for a loss. But the good thing is that I exited when I did because from the contracts just continued to lose value
