LAS VEGAS VLOG | Wynn & Encore Slots, Rockhouse, Strip Walk | Day 4, Part 1, (April 2024)

- Hello everyone!! Welcome to a new set of DAILY vlogs from here in LAS VEGAS!!
On our fourth day, we took another trip up Strip to Venetian to eat and drink beers in Rockhouse, and then moved up to Wynn & Encore for some slots!
For some reason this video was corrupted during its export, so I lost half of the day and only just realised way after it was first uploaded. Part 2 exists, and I am editing this for you guys now!

Bit of a sudden ending 😂. Proper UK glasses for the Sierra Nevada (although always looks a little lifeless!). Good to see you can enjoy the slots on small sums 👍🏻
Hahahah tell me about it - Pete managed to ruin my outro and I forgot to film the rest so that was how it had to end haha!!! Yeah - I keep getting UK and US pint sizes mixed up as well, and keep feeling short changed. I'm also in the process of editing our craft beer tour (it's in the Arts District of Vegas and has some very interesting beers to say the least - I can't wait for you to see that one!)
Totally! Weight just doesn’t feel right in you hand - bet they make some great stuff though. No beer themed fruit machine yet, must be a Duff Beer one somewhere.

Those pickle chips look amazing! 🤤 we still have yet to hit the Wynn Encore property but going soon for their buffet and slot play 🥂
Oh amazing! Wynn/Encore is next level honestly love it there, but I also tend to neglect it so I’m gonna try not to this time! The buffet sounds like a great shout - just don’t eat too much or you won’t be able to move 😂😂😂

@@ChrisandTaraCA I’ve done two buffets in Vegas and well. I tend to treat them as all you can eat contests which is probably where I go wrong 😂 I see it as a challenge!

Great vlogs guys, looks like we must have just missed you, we were there 24-27th last week.
No way!! We are still here at the moment but leaving on Monday. It’s been a very long and epic trip 😂 where did you stay and did you get lucky?
We did quite well actually, we played through about $2600 and came back with $2675 😂 we stayed at the Vdara, absolutely loved it, we watched mad apple last Thursday that was brilliant. Other than that it was mainly resort hopping, gambling, eating and drinking 😄 we were going to meet up with vegas cheers last Thursday too, but we’d been drinking up freemont all afternoon and were exhausted 🥱. So jealous that you’ve been in vegas so long! We’re already itching to get back there.

Just came across your videos on vegas…currently just finishing this episode but will go through them all.
I’m going to vegas for the first time in September and really looking forward to it.
Just a quick question…could you give me some tips on the tipping situation over there.i really haven’t a clue on how much to tip.
Also were the pina colada’s free? How much would you tip a waiter or waitress for a free drink while playing slots?

@@marshymellow6335 ah hello!! Thank you for watching the vlogs so far and I hope they are getting you excited for your trip!
So for tipping - restaurants will bring you the bill and then swipe your card, they will then bring it back to you with a pen. Your receipt will usually have a percentage breakdown of tips, so 18%, 20% and 22% usually. And this is relative to how much your bill is! Then you just put the tip amount you wanna pay, and then combine that with the total and the server will charge your card that exact amount.
For bar service - it’s usually $1 per drink if you order one or two, but if you have table service then the above would apply.
If you are gambling on the slots or table games, waitresses will ask if you want a drink. You can have pretty much anything you want. If you’re unsure what cocktails or beers they have then you can ask! Again the minimum tip is $1, but some people may tip more, maybe $5 or something if they want. But $1 is fine!
I would say for coffee and fast food over the counter - tip a minimum of 15% (like I said it’s usually all calculated for you now).
For sit down meals the minimum is 18% but depending on the level of service you get you can tip above that!
