I love that metal is mainstream in Finland
unfortunatelly it is not ..but so many talented bands and singers here 🤘😈 like Amorphis, Nightwish, Arion, Stam1na, Viikate, Lost Society, Stråle etc

@@KaiMarcad Yes, I know: my son was deeply impressed by that time period.. mingling with metal genre bands in Oulu region..as you know iconic Sentenced band was born there and is still one of my favs - so sad that it got buried ..they released that Funeral album ..their guitarrists passed away at 34 years...as my son, too.
Metal hype was attached with satanism (=obey your inner beast). My son was a metalhead till the end and true to this lifestyle.

This was actually pretty pretty good job by this guy. Jack Black has an amazing voice and it's really hard to be copied.

His vocals are not impressive but the vibe is good and the thing that makes me happy is that all juries seems to know the pick of destiny.
Listen Paavo Laapotti Deadsong... In that song you can hear this dudes real voice. This his performance is nothing compared to that...

I think it was a mistake to so completely mimic JB's vocalizations in that first ascending call (a perfect place to add his own style, IMHO) and he needs a little practice with breath control, but otherwise a FANTASTIC rendition of one of The D's best songs.
Also, when those two judges shot up, I was half expecting they would start singing the KG part.

No it's a thing singers do to control the volume when they're going falsetto because it's so loud or for staccato (think Vitas)
@@tervetuloadokaamaan I've heard from the production people that they actually do pre record a live version and might use it in the tv version if the actual set goes bad.

@@onyxsh0cks456 The band means a lot to him and thats why he sang it, he knew it wouldnt be perfect but tried his best. After all jack has only once sang that song live, and it wasnt as good as this in my opinion.
