  • Today a couple of our friends saved some reptile eggs from some kids who were digging them up on a sandy beach. They brought them to us so we can incubate them and release once they've hatched. But the big question is... WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY?! Comment your guesses below!

    hey I've done some research and I've found some info;
    i have come to the conclusion that *the ping-pong shaped ones* are most likely to be *snapping turtle eggs* because of their roundness and *they are native to both Minnesota and Wisconsin.*
    as for *the oval ones* , you said that they look like they were *laid just recently* right?
    I've done some research and found that *painted turtle eggs are also oval-like in shape* and guess what?
    *painted turtle eggs get laid around late spring and mid summer.*
    which is around *June 20 - June 26!*
    and this video was posted on *June 27* so there are pretty good odds that the oval ones are *painted turtle eggs.*
    *they are also native to Minnesota and Wisconsin* too so i am pretty sure about this.
