The dream of every medical student is to get into a desirable residency irrespective of where he/she received his/her medical school education. Choosing the right medical school and getting an acceptance requires the candidate to have met the admissions criteria and most importantly, to have successfully passed the MCAT.
MCAT is the Medical College Admissions Test which is required to get into all medical schools in the United States. The higher your score, the more competitive you become in getting into the top medical schools in the country. It's like taking the SAT/ACT to get into college.
Choosing a TOP Caribbean medical school is not a bad idea depending on what specialty to plan on going MATCHED into. In this video you will find my few words of wisdom that I would have told myself if this was 2012/2013 academic year.

Was it dificult to pay for medical school

Thank you for your comment. Medical school is expensive and I was able to get my training on Student Loans and EMT scholarship.
I will recommend researching on the school you want to apply to, looking for scholarship and grant offers then, government students loans before considering private loans.
