Send an email to your reviewer or evaluator and see what can be done for you. Credential evaluation has never been a 1 size fits all, it’s unique to each applicant. But before CGFNS would never issue you CES without verifying all your licenses… now we have exemptions… so take advantage of this update…. I get new updates all the time, I will share with you once I gather more details on this.

I did my verification with NMC UK and RM , does the waiver still apply?
I am als RM and RN Nigeria so I can provide transcript for both! What I don’t know if if CGFNS will complete my evaluation as my registration with is RM, I learnt one time that fir RM qualifications we should not use CGFNS … clarity pls
This is for UKRN. So, before you could have qualified as a UKRN, NMC has verified you with NMCN that is why CGFNS can give a waiver. But for nurses that has not practiced outside Nigeria and has not verified their licence before, this is not applicable. I hope this helps

It’s not for just UKRNs. I know someone practicing in Nigeria. It was waived as well.

This is not true. The video is very correct. This waiver is for all nurses . Fresh from school, everyone! What qualifies you as a nurse in USA is taking and passing the nclex . Anyone that didn’t get this waiver has some other issues.

Was this your friend already a UKRN? Because if cgfns can’t verify your licensure, how then will for eg; Texas board confirm that you’re truly a nurse? Would be easier to wave the verification for someone that is Nigerian Rn and also UKRN or any other countries RN because they will just work with your second licensing board. My thought though.

Please can I need answer to this... recently I was requested to submit letter of good standing to complete my NMC UK registration cos I have passed OSCE. Do I need another verification to get the letter from NMC Nigeria or I need to apply for issuance of letter of good standing only

I don’t think the waiver is general,May be only for UKRN.Nigerian nurses on US pathway are still stucked in the process because cgfns is still saying they are waiting for supporting documents
Is nmcn not currently verifying documents? I thought there's been a halt to the new verification rule they wanted to implement?

Ok my daughter’s got completed without any form of verification from the abysmal nursing council. Cjfns has waived it for everyone. As long as you graduated. Agencies are filing and processing nurses for immigrant visas waiving the same nonsense. What a shame on them.

The more request they get, the more likely they will consider this option.

There are Nurses with Josef also getting waivers… in fact, the first nurse to share this update on Twitter got his update from a Nigerian Nurse applying with Josef. He got email that NMCN verification has been waived…
