Theres nothing like creativity when it comes to having different bus operator colours/designs...!!!
It's because it's more efficient in terms of saving money. Keeping all buses red not only saves money on paint but, allows to switch out parts easier, regardless of the operator.
Exactly it’s the same in Northern Ireland they went from having grey and blue or grey and pink to panting them all blue and all pink

I am all for bringing back the 80% red and 20% company colour. It helps identify a bus on a route and suits the enthusiast.
I love those London General, London Central liveries. Actually, the London Central Gemini 1 you have went to Go North East and is used on my school bus.

Ahh I miss the good old blue-bottom buses... On my local metro line buses (6, 52, 302)
I think London buses should go back to 80 percent red instead of 100 percent red it looks better and isn't bland
The liveries I will miss is stagecoach arriva first go ahead London and metroline I remember those growing up all those liveries are gone bar the go ahead one which a handful of buses still have

These were a part of the WM Travel Bus empire based in Birmingham a part of the National Express Group, the motif before the Travel London's name shows the WM isignia badge of WM Travel and a laening N of the owning Company National Express Group one of the biggest Bus Companies in the World

Routemasters, titans, mcws, olympians, alx400s, gemini mk1s & plaxton presidents were all in the same era in the 90s

My favourite bus is the wright gemini 1 bus
The 320 (my school route) still have a few e400s with the London general grey skirt with yellow stripe
The Paxton president is used as all of my routes in Manchester
I miss the E400 the most
The TPL got scrapped.

this video probly some way relates to the only ex london bus i have witc his a corgi gemini 2 go a head group aka WVL337 havent got the older style model of an e400 as i have now 2 MMCs second being blueline as up at arrival top the store i got it from pritty much intrest
All three of those London United Volvo B7TLs like the one in the video (BD51 YCR/YCS/YCT) moved to Network Warrington in real life.

I never knew London buses were run by different companies
Well they are different groups. Like TFL own it all but some routes are run by TFL when others are run by London central, Arriva, Stagecoach, Metroline, Travel London, London United

Nah, London buses are red, leave the clown colours to the provinces.
Not gonna lie, but I used to look forward to going on the GAL or Metroline buses, as soon as they all turned red, it was the Abellio for me.
Personally now, London buses have less character than they used to.
