Why should you keep your weight stable after Gynecomastia surgery? Let's discuss this topic. This is Dr. Amit Gupta, a plastic surgeon. Last week a patient sent his post-operative photos because he thought he had more fat on his chest. He was so worried and was calling us continuously and blamed us for spoiling his surgery.
When we see his photos they were normal but the chest fat was definitely increased. The Patient had surgery about a year ago. When we enquired got to know that the patient has gained 7 to 8kg weight in one year. In this situation when the fat increase in your body it is obvious that fat will also increase in the chest. As a patient, remember that you have to control your body weight. If you don't do exercise and continuously gain weight then I can't do anything. Normally Gynecomastia doesn't return. Gland enlargement by eating steroids. When you put on weight the fat will increase and you know that it is natural.
But when it comes to post-surgery, you blame the doctor. Please focus on yourself, if your weight increases more than 1.5 to 2kg please control it. Otherwise, your result will be spoiled and this is on you. We will be told this clearly to every patient and I have also told this in many of my videos. I always tell you during a personal consultation that if you gain weight the fat will increase in the whole body including your chest.
Please be aware after post-opt if you are doing such a big surgery and getting the perfect result with Divine.
Your laziness, overeating, and the habit of not doing exercise are spoiling your result. After that, you are blaming us. So please don't do this and do your weight loss, this will resolve your problem.
A very important thing is if you gain weight after Gynecomastia surgery and your chest becomes fatty. You will do the exercise to decrease the fat. Don't waste this opportunity and always keep your weight stable.
