This is quite impressive! I'm excited to see a Viola to enrich the middle register. Your progress from guitar libraries, which I still love, to this orchestral endeavor is remarkable. I'd suggest exploring exceptional woodwind libraries following the success of these solo strings-ones that capture realism like this violin library. Looking forward to more from your team!
What an interesting instrument! It has character, expression and personality. And let me ad, this is one of the better walkthrough I've seen. With the perfect ballance between verbal and practical demonstration, where the music speaks for it self. You succeeded in selling it to me. Well done!
Thank you so much!!! This is so awesome just like the barbarian cello!! Thank you for responding to your requests and making this!! Now waiting for the VIOLA! :)) :))
This video made me insta-buy Lux Violin. Much like Barbarian Cello, it seems to have a tone that is unprecedented in the sample world. Well done mister Forner ❤

Solo violin is super sound. Section strings violin, cello and bas is no good sound, but tihis is my ears only. Thank for very good video. Composer from Czech.
Sounds beautiful. The articulation selection is very well chosen. I have a couple of questions: 1. Is there vibrato control for the legato articulations? 2. Will a viola and double bass be developed as well? And if so could you offer a bundle price? Keep up your amazing work!
Thanks! Legato articulations have a single vibrato mode so it is not controllable. Regarding future releases, at the moment the viola and double bass are not in development, perhaps in the future but I cannot guarantee it one hundred percent.
Pfff ! I had already been seduced by the sound of Brabarian cello and this one makes me envious too, I finally find a violin sound as I hear it when I play, well done !
Just purchased, and it's absolutely gorgeous! Amazing work. My only request: to have the ability to move the keyswitches up. On a 61-key controller, I have a range of a perfect 4th to actually play if I want to use the legato keyswitches (which is primarily what I'm doing). Or is there a way around this that I'm missing?
Thanks Alex! The keyswitches are in the lowest part of the keyboard because they must match between Lux Violin and Barbarian Cello, and since they must match, in Barbarian Cello there is no other possibility than to place them in that area, since if they were higher they would collide with the extended playable area. That being said, I could add an extra patch with the keyswitches a couple of octaves higher just for Lux Violin, would that work for you on the 61-key keyboard?
@DavidFornerSamples Totally understand that design choice, and I appreciate the response! And yes, a patch with keyswitches a couple octaves up would make the instrument much more accessible. 👍🏻
Non-controllable vibrato is an anathema. No matter how good it sounds in the demo, the performance is strictly limited to a super rigit sterile/templated expression that severely limits the phrasing options. Vibrato here seems to be treated just as an "added decoration", whereas, vibrato with variable width and variable speed is existentially crucial for the violin - the king of expression - and is simply not present. Showing near contempt to this by the developers makes me want to cry. Are you serious? Swells without a gradual increase in vibrato intensity? Message to developers: Come back to me when you have fixed this.
Just downloaded it and I seem to be having some notes cutting off when I try playing legato passages. I've seen it doing this in both Kontakt 6 and 7. Any suggestions for smoother, reliable playback?
This may be because your buffer size is too low and you are experiencing CPU or disk spikes. Try raising it and the situation will probably improve. Also please check the number of voices you have in Kontakt and increase if necessary. I can't replicate your problem on my computer, if you see that it does not improve, do not hesitate to contact us through the Loot Audio website to give us more details.
@@DavidFornerSamples I just bought all your products including the El Dorado guitars too. Just incredible stuff. Really looking forward to your next library.
At last, I was wondering if I was developing some problems with my hearing Whilst some articulations seem to be OK, for example plucked and other similar voices, the more legato voices are ugly - never to be confused with the string instruments they are purported to emulate.

So beautiful. I was so impressed with Barbarian Cello, I can’t wait to try this out!
That's great to hear, thank you!

I've been trying to talk myself out of getting this, but I'm not doing a very good job of it.

Just bought this. I missed the intro sale for Barbarian Cello 😢 do you reckon it'll go on sale for Black Friday. Would like to grab that too ❤
During the Lux Violin introductory price period you can find all my products on sale :)
