    Besides the way it sounds, how reliable is it, especially when buying 5 of those in a live stage setting?

    Cool review, I like that you actually gave the sample on how it worked with the music. I am in search of another mic, and this time I want a wireless one. And I second you on "make sure you have your own microphone"... I learned that we can't count on anyone when it comes to our performance (if we really consider ourselves musicians/singers). I am going to check on your Sennheiser review now. Hopefully it helps me to make my decision. Thanks for sharing!

    Great video, but this is not the scenario when you are on stage having big loudspeakers behind you, … almost everything you said about live performance is not relevant, because you are in studio environment. Is a great mic all over btw I used it for the last 3 year with Beta58 cap, but the only annoying think is when is closer to the mouth sound distortion a bit and this stops you if you want to hype the crowd, not sure if the gain is on or off. Found out that this mic has a gain -10db setting and not many reviewers talk about this feature.

  • @handytechinstallations5294

    What is your advice about EQ for a Presonus Digital Mixer? I'm getting to much pops from the preacher and I would like to the mic sound more like yours.
    Thank you.

    • @TekOverclocked
      @TekOverclocked  Před 4 lety +1

      You got 2 options
      Option 1: Even if it looks a bit ugly put the pop filter in the mic to protect it from the plosives
      Option 2: tell the preacher to stay minimum of 6” away from the capsule

    Sinceramente con el SM58 wireless es suficiente para un lugar pequeño y que no seas tan profesional. Si de verdad quieres ir a las ligas mayores estás hablando que necesitas micrófonos de 1000 dólares para arriba como el Senheiser EW 500 digital wireless. Pero con el SM58 se hace todo no necesitas más a no ser que como dije anteriormente de verdad eres un profesional

      When using an amplifier with this mic, what’s the best distance to have the amp away from you so the mic noise isn’t hissing or coming back to you, so you can have very little ‘interfering’ noise with it? I have the amp turned away instead of towards me.
