Great idea hiding the subwoofer in the wardrobe, I remember when you made that setup but I clearly forgot that you hid that there.
Alex - I love this system. It is amazing - at home I use Pioneer Active monitor speakers and Sonos. I use Klipsch speakers in my room and they are really good for what they are worth. Great video overall, it is very detailed and you have put a lot of effort into this video.

hi alex just looking at your turn table under you tv your record/vinyl looks a bit warped i suggest getting a record/vinyl waight to keep the record/vinyl flat when playing to make the sound bettter

Awesome tour. Glad to see you use tidal! The difference really is noticeable over Spotify when you’re using a decent system 🙌🏼
It's not actually that different. I work as a mastering engineer and acoustics engineer. Tidal and Spotify are very much the same, and even with higher sampling rates on Tidal, the difference is negligible even from my own tests. It's more or less a marketing gimmick.
An interesting opinion. The lossless and consistent format tidal streams in, sounds night and day on my system at home and even on my B&O system in my car when compared to streaming the same tracks from Spotify. Having following the bitrate too, it definitely does not seem like a gimmick to me ☺️
@@Holdeenio Does depend on the quality of lossless. For example 320kbps mpeg-3 has a very negligible and inaudible difference in comparison to wav. Where as ~160 kbps stereo mpeg-3 (or less) does have a very audible difference.
@@MattVorn I believe Tidal uses FLAC which is similar to WAV. When that's played next to spotify which I think is worse mostly due to it's inconsistency, I can really hear so much more of the music. I notice additional instruments and melodies that are lost in the muddiness of the Spotify stream 🤷♂️. All that said, this is comparing on a high-end system in my house with an expensive DAC, and my premium B&O system in my car. When I use basic bluetooth headphones, there is negligible difference.

Alex you’ve got to get some sound treatments in your rooms, if you think it sounds good now your mind will be blown once you get the room acoustics managed. Take a look for some acoustic panels - most definitely not acoustic foams as those will wreck your sound

Surely that roll of foam under the white kef would affect the sound because the speaker doesn't have a firm base to kick off?

he is right about the deep rumle instead of loud bass. my 6.5 lg sl8yg soundbar sub also goes very deep for that deep definitly audible rumble bass. it doesnt even have to move alot to creat that deep stuff. And yes you can roast me if you want on me having a 6.5 inch.

Glad you brought the Cinema room back! Those KEF speakers may have a high price tag but they sound insane, I do agree that the subwoofer will help a ton as without it the bass isn’t as intense and definitely sounds better with them. Are you going to do an iPhone 12 review at some stage? The pro max in blue is insane and been loving it so far!
It's an awesome room, and the speakers are something else 🔥 We did an iPhone 12 Mini vs Max video last year too btw!

Have you used any Monitor Audio speakers? If so how do they compare with the KEF and Klipsch speakers?
I would say that monitors audios top of range fronts match the klipsch in my opinion in terms of quality.
You quoted the wrong power figures for the kef ls50 wireless it is the wireless 2 that has that amplifier power

I can't stand Sonos! I'd like to know what images you have playing on your two tv's during the tour. Specifically the one with the turntable and Kef speakers flanking it.
Very nice setups.......even the "ghetto" ones have a cool retro feel/look to them.
I currently have a Pioneer 5.1 AVR running pioneer and JVC speakers. I want to upgrade to all pioneer Andrew Jones loud speakers and ultimately get up to a setup with a Mareantz 11.2 AVR so I can run a Klipsch 7.2.4 Atmos speaker system.
Oh yes.. the gyms that we call garages.. bahahaha.. really got me!
