Is this part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Jemma? Youd be an unreal person to see Shakespeare with, because it sounds like you have a passion for it. My brother and I went to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, but im afraid that the magnificence of it all was overwhelming. I know that William Shakespeare is known for being an incredible writer, with a special gift for the English language. He was a Master storyteller, but I've ttuly struggled with his work. Your boys will be enriched by sharing Shakespeare together
Shakespeare is a true passion of mine - but it has to be taught in the right way!

@@asdrocksautismrocks6478 Jemma, I can tell that Shakespeare lights you up :) I never studied it formally, but we explored Theban plays - Antigone being my favourite. I'm afraid I almost failed Lit, and I believe it's partly to do with being unable to express myself in front of my peers. Teacher tried her best to encourage my creativity, but I now believe it was expressive language/comprehension for me.
Saw Asclepius at Shakespeare's Globe. The Golden Ass. With my brother and his wife. I'm afraid many of the ideas and narrative passed me by, but I have attempted to read the play. ADHD, i suspect. Psychiatrist thinks perhaps.
Love modern plays, and I try to go whenever I visit the city.
