Imagine you're using this and turn it on for 1 hour and then you just realized that you didn't turn on the adventure sync...
You can turn on adventure sync when you open PoGo and it will pick up what it missed. As long as your phone keeps power the whole time, you’re good!

@@Silverjackie some people can get it to register previous distance after turning on Pokémon go and starting adventure sync. they're able to use the turning off and turning on of adventure sink to preload distances I'm not sure how they're doing it but apparently they're able to do it.

Problem is running and bicycling does not get tallied correctly. The game deems you to be moving too fast and does not give proper credit when you are moving at anything above walking speed.
I jogged 3 miles and only got credit for .2km then I walked another mile and got credit for .8km . Broken and badly inaccurate either way, but egregiously so the faster you move.

Without power the magnets just attract to eachother. Powering it reverses the power of the base magnet so they repel eachother

Yea when she popped the battery’s in I didn’t think it was actually using power from the battery, thought the magnetic field from the battery’s was manipulating the magnets path of motion. But idk never studied it or put any time in it was I right?

I have a similar one, you can forego the batteries and connect straight to power via the USB cable. Apart from egg hatching this would also be useful for adventure sync rewards which can be up to 16,000 stardusts + poke balls, eggs, rare candy or silver pinaps.
Yep, these things are stardust machines when used correctly and especially on Android.

I bought mine back when you first started doing the sock trick. So many eggs hatched. But sometimes I think it depends on how you put your phone in the cradle. Different ways seem to work & not work

It most likely takes batteries because of something with the magnetic field and the batteries, and the batteries being in makes it so the magnet pushes away from them so it keeps swinging. (At least I'm pretty sure that's why)

The magnets are supposed to make the swinger move. The is another magnet inside the base that is and electromagnet because you need batteries or an electric plug to make it move. If you do not turn on the power plug or did not put the batteries the swinger wont move. So, the magnets are not to make the swinger heavier.
We’ve had 2 of these - Amazon replaced the first one because the motor died after a month. The second died within another month and we just gave up. Curious how long yours lasts.
I didn't have this exact one but one similar that I used with my Galaxy 9, upgraded to the Note 10 and now it won't work.

bought one like this but didnt last long the metal bar was grinding into the plastic and cutting into it and it stop swinging lol so i got a different model with ball bearing one and u can fit two phone good for farming candy for ur buddy as well while your sleeping hehe
I tried the one with the ball bearing and it was a no go across 4 different devices LG stylo5 Blu view2 (my smallest phone) a galaxy 32 5g and galaxy x cover either my phone(s) are too heavy? Or just got a bad unit....the barrel port in the rocker does seem a little loose or something

Some people worry about ban. That's why they prefer the swing. No risk whatsoever
All these defit comments eventually going to get Niantics attention and they'll ruin the fun for everyone who uses it 😅

A few weeks ago, Niantic has already announced if any players get caught using Defit, their accounts will be suspended.

@@paulchin4094 yup, suprised using the sock trick or the phone swing doesn't get people suspended. I know they can't detect you using those things, but figuredthey can detect gaining lots of km super fast.

I use this thing like 2-3 times a week and get upwards of 100km that way you can max out stardust on Monday mornings(24,000 stardust with Star Piece).
Pokegirl7, I would like to let you know I just ordered a phone swing (without the AAA battery pack) as a birthday gift and paid it with my own money a few days ago from Amazon since Monday and just received it today. I’m going to try that trick out every 10-20 minutes or so. Regarding the incubators, I would just save my PokeCoins and just assign Pokemon to gyms whenever I can go out grocery shopping.

Lol or you download an app called "fit as" that loggs distances walked for fitness trackers such as Fitbit. But also works on Pokemon go
I don't have one but it will work with Wizards Unite for unlocking portkeys on Adventure sync too.

Just use pokewalk lol... you just download the app and then it gives you a couple options to add like 2km...5km.. etc and then you just wait like 10 min (it has a countdown so you know when the time is up ) and then it will hatch ur eggs
I've got 2 but lately, for some reason, I barely get any distance. I can get like 0.2km after 2 hours. I've no idea why. Google fit even removes steps sometimes. Anybody has a similar problem?
Mine worked for a week then stopped rocking back in forth. I tried everything from even putting batteries but it still doesn't work 😕
Attach your phone to a kitchen aid or to one of the attachment for mixer or and other mixer attachment and put it on the lowest setting and let it run ill goo just give it time
This also works another way aswell if you have an android phone download defit and works the same way to hatch eggs

I have the same one, but it didn't work for me.
Only got 0.2km in almost an hour swing. All my settings were on.

ragamuffin66 after a while of using adventure sync it might stop working. I would suggest deleting the app and redownloading and signing back in and then it will work better

It works great on Android, and decently on IoS. Great either way if you're distance starved and/or stardust starved lol. On Android you can tell Fit not to record GPS data, only steps and set it to record a run. It's very fast with a small phone (rocks quicker with a smaller, lighter phone).
I got mine as English. And it say put phone upside down for better motion steps.

I bought one and it doesn't work on my phone but does on my daughter's. (I have the Galaxy S20 FE and she has the iPhone 12) We both have adventure sync on. I get credit for regular walking but not on the swing. It sucks! Anyone else?
Maybe use defit my friends do it cuz they dont walk that much and it is way way easier
