@@Joe_Plexi I've since become aware of this fact. A great band - Hoping to convince my band to do a cover of this song (though something more like the Sad Lovers version, with the sweet sax bits. I even learned a bit of sax for the occasion lol)
This version was probably recorded between 1988 to 1992, although originally recorded by Sad lovers and giants back in 1982. This version is much later, up to 10 years later.
This is awful. Apart from the obvious connection, why do/did this band try to cover SLAG classics like this and In Flux? Surely if you were in a family related/neighbouring band you'd want to do your own thing? Still credit to them, they're still obviously liked and touring. Can't beat the original (sadly minus TGF now) though.

Simon Blanchard (TGF) now plays bass for Old Country Union who play regularly in the Tring area
