The parents were overly protective and and didn't quite know what to do with Helen. Then Annie came in and took charge. A difficult job for Annie.
@LexiTheShortOne Because the real Annie had had eye surgery because she was blind, and light bothers her eyes because of the 9 surgery's, thats why :)
