Up There x New Balance 1906R "Metallic Silver" (M1906RUP): Review & On-Feet

I think out of all of the silver new balance 1906r's to release, this pair is by far the best. It is silver and flashy, but isn't as metallic looking as other GR releases, and it comes with a huge slew of laces for customizability. The smaller details such as the different mesh overlays on certain panels, as well as the little green hits give this pair a very nice touch of uniqueness. I think overall this pair is a cut above the other GR silver 1906r's because of the culmination of small touches, and Up There's eye for curation, that sets this pair as a whole above the rest.

This pair is a collaboration but more of a SMU - Special Make Up.
It’s still something which is unique and exclusive for a specific store, but won’t have any permanent branding. They still might have branding that can be removed (insole/laces/lace lock). Size? For example only really release SMU pairs. The retail price on SMU pairs is usually very close to what the general release pairs cost.
Back on to this pair, I think it works really well and although looks similar to many GR’s it has enough little touches to elevate it.

These were sitting on their site for a couple of weeks. Glad I was able to cop with ease. The cream hits with silver were perfectly executed. If you wanted these they were easy to cop.

I really like these. I’d put the gray laces in them though. I don’t care for the wavy laces some 1906R pairs come with as the default option.
