I know the HyVibe is not a feature on the Virtuo....but it should be! The ability to use the bluetooth option to jam along to BT's would be a massive plus for the hybrid electric model (as well as all the other features that the HyVibe offers). Surely, the versatility of carbon would allow for a section of the back of the guitar to be 'enlarged' to allow for the HyVibe installation. It might spoil the aesthetics of the build....but I would welcome it just to be able to jam on a virtuo to a loop or a BT of my choosing....

My emerald x7 hangs in my wall and it’s stayed in tune perfectly for about a year now without having to tune it. That’s amazingly cool in my opinion

So SWEET Davy and Alistar! Great sound and this isn't a gimmick. I absolutely love an acoustic with a touch of chorus. The simplicity of it seems brilliantly designed.

It sounds great... a question - when you plug it in to a PA out the 1/4 inch jack... does it defeat the effects coming out of the soundhole/guitar or is the effect still on? Can you defeat the in-guitar effect when plugging into PA or vice versa?
Hi John! The effects carry through the jack and stop coming out of the soundhole. :)
Great review… Davy is playing a small body X7. My questions:
#1. How does the sound of the effects change as you go up to X10-20-30, with increasing body volume? Do the effects gain volume / depth, as the body size increases, or does it stay consistent?
#2. Can the “boost” be combined with other effects thru the APP?

I have 4 Emeralds. I wish at least one had the Hyvibe. Any way I can ship one back so you could put one in?
Probably any good guitar tech would be willing to install it for you... carbon fiber is generally forgiving about cutting and pasting.. should you ever have issue with your guitar allister's an absolute champ... Otherwise it's a long way to send?
Always wonder what those "smart" guitar will look like in 10 years. Hope HyVide will still make new version that fit in the same spot.

The HyVibe unit is too big to fit on the slim body Chimaera unfortunately, but it would be a great addition if it was possible😊

I had a lag hyvibe but Im irish n wanna go green ....a couple things you guys missed ....I dont know if you know this either but there is a footpeddle that links up to it and you can loop with that n add reverbs and also I dont know if you knew but it actually has a input and apart from the blue tooth I used my lag hyvibe as a amp for my electric just messed around n tried it for a laugh .... but it worked ... O totally agree with you about this system and am gunna save n buy one of yours ... I have not heard one without the system on tho....edit f me 2300 ,,,need to do more buskin first ....do you not give sligo boy discounts .?

Got my X20 with the Hy Vibe system just before Christmas, haven't stoped plying it, this system opens up a new world of creativity, truly a fantastic instrument, that said I am interested in the app that Davy uses on the video discussing the Hy Vibe, does anyone know how and where to obtain this app, may have to contact emerald for any info on this. Anyone thinking of getting an emerald guitar I can and would recommend the Hy Vibe system, brilliant.

Amazing tech. Do you hear any differences based on different body sizes for the guitars? Does the Hyvibe sound different on X30 vs X7?
I really like the look of the guitar. Is that the vibrant weave or regular?
Does the guitar you're playing there have the standard neck width, or is it a bit wider?

How much does that guitar cost with all those sounds. This is awesome. I wish I would of seen this before I bought my Taylor. What do you do if therebis a problem. What do you do, where can you go to get it fixed
For all pricing and options on all models, please our 3D builder on our site. Enter our design competition while you are at it! We build our guitars to last a number of lifetimes, but if anything were to happen, depending on the issue and location, sometimes a pro tech can resolve, if not the guitar would be shipped back to us in Ireland.
Does the tuner allow you to change the base frequency tuning say to 432hz?

Hi there, unfortunately, the HyVibe is only available on full-bodied acoustics with a traditional fixed saddle bridge. The Virtuo comes with excellent pickup choices included as standard that gives you a wide choice when interacting with various external FX units. @@emeraldguitars so, now we know the disadvantages. Might there be advantages if the Hy-Vive system were available on the Virtuo model? And answering here rather than asking the Staff privately will share the answers with many more people.

Does it affect the tone or sustain of the guitar? I worry about it acting like a damper on the face of the guitar? What I'm asking is do you compromise the acoustic tone of the guitar by adding this? Thanks.
I’d imagine if they were willing to put this into the guitars, the tone/sustain was not impacted negatively. If it was, I doubt they would utilize these!
You said available on all guitars but won’t fit on a Virtuo will it?
Virtuo is built on the X10 SLIM body… it is too narrow to accommodate the side mounted preamp. If you go to the configurator on the website, you will see that HyVibe is available on X10, but not on X10 Slimline…
Do you have any info on how long the batteries last in that processor unit? I've used the Tonewood Amp in the past, which seems like a similar concept, but the batteries don't last long, and they're a pain to change.
The Hyvibe system has an internal rechargeable battery which lasts up to 11 hours. Hyvibe says -
Yes, the batteries are replaceable, but it requires some disassembly and we do not recommend doing this until the battery is unable to hold its charge.
