Abhishek Raghuram: RTP : Mohanam

Sri Abhishek Raghuram performed a sublime ragam tanam pallavi in the raga Mohanam at Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium in Mumbai on 4th March 2018. THe pallavi was "Lalithe vinuthe mām pāhi".
He was accompanied by Sri B.U. Ganesh Prasad on the violin and Sri Arjun Kumar on the mridangam.

What a mind. His musical thoughts are streak of consciousness for sure yet are comprehensible and follow a clear progression. Great to be free and make sense. I am inspired like hell to be free like this man. Be free. 🙏🏾 this mohanam makes me feel like I can fly like Hanuman.

Brilliant as always. But I couldn’t quite understand the usage of shatshruti rishabham in the tanaam.. if someone could throw some light on that .

Great rendition as usual. But like someone else pointed out, there were some off ri swaras. A bit like the Dha in Maand. I personally don't mind the creative aspect of it and actually sounded interesting.. not sure what the idea was behind the interpretation
