but the meaning of the song is that they are facing their fears through Jesus Christ our Savior. And because of him they are able to defeat their fears in life. That's why he screams some one "Save me" but Jesus was the only one who listen and that's why the black hands were lifted off his eyes. Jesus had save him from the sins and darkness that was in his life and set him free. And I love the small detail that if you notice at 5:23 the black hands are trying to cover his eyes again but he protected by Jesus and the black hands can't touch him and that is why the black hands start to smoke as if they are on fire. Because Jesus is protecting his son. Amen thank you Jesus

This song gets to me cuss im covered in darkness wanting to be saved but im afraid of being saved
What is it about being saved that you are afraid of? My son, when he was much younger, used to be afraid of actually going to heaven (he wasn't even 10 yrs old yet) because he didn't have a full understanding of what heaven is or the fact that heaven is truly so much greater than anything we have here on earth. It can be an anxious thought simply because we don't really know anything different than what we've been told, what we've grown up with, or just what we know in life around us. Trust me, getting right with God, confessing your sins in order to be saved and born again, is just the beginning of something brand new and even greater that what life is like right now. There is no need to be afraid of what God has to give to you when you give your life to Him. Be blessed and may your future be full of new hope, joy, and peace!

Anthony Fantano (TheNeedleDrop) needs to watch Devon Gibson's reactions to Skillet, as well as Alex Hefnwr's reactions to Skillet. Anthony really seems to dislike Skillet, however, I have only seen 1 person dislike Skillet on youtube. It is clear that Skillet is a really good band unlike what Anthony says.

If your still looking for another Underoath song to listen to, i think you might like "some will seek forgiveness, others escape." Its quite different than most of there other music but i think you'll like it.

I think they screaming to all of us ,who can share the gospel with them. (But most of us really afraid to share the gospel,(including me) and they suffering because of our fear) that's my point of view, maybe I'm wrong.
