I've also quit Greenville, I have been playing this game since 2018 and I was so obsessed with Gv, and every morning I would sneak out and play Gv and listen to some Juice wrld songs.. the good old memories

This is so sad, I've been playing GV for a few years now and I've loved every moment of it...
It's just sad watching the car community go through all of this, I even played DE WAY before the crates update sometime around Apr 2022, which I say didn't even feel fun when I played.. And all because of them kids in driving empire complaining to car brands on how they were unlucky and didn't get a good car. I still play greenville but rarely and I only do so if I joined an NGVRP session, and playing the game for their updates. And in the last few weeks, I barely even play for an hour unlike how I be playing for like 1-2 hours in greenville back then. By 2024-2025 I'd probably stop playing fully. And if one of my fav car brands that still stand today got removed I'd be losing my patience and shit. ALL THANKS TO A STUPID KID ON TWITTER BEGGING BRANDS TO BE REMOVED.

I only started playing around march this year, and i regret not starting it before, i’ve only been playing for a few months now, and i’ve already decided to quit. I made so many good memories in greenville and it feels difficult to leave, but i’m done with this madness.

at the end of the day this will honestly just be another chapter in our lives. i know it sounds stupid even though this game has been mine and many others favorite game for a while but i know we will always find something else to do. something has to happen i know something will. we just gotta keep going and see what has to come because it is the inevitable truth that every good thing comes to an end.
Tbh it started with bourgist selling driving empire to voldex. Voldex doesn't pay their devs enough so they made driving empire p2w. People got mad and emailed car companies talking about driving empire having their cars in it which slowly made driving empire lose all of its cars. The car companies also noticed other car games with their cars in it which made them take a lot of the cars down too. I just wish Bourgist never sold his game.

I grew up with this game. Starting from Greenville Classic Beta. It shatters my heart seeing my childhood game be in the crossfire of all this.
At this point i don't know what I am gonna do. Greenville was what built my channel, I still have not made a decion but it looks like Greenville won't be my main channel base anymore.

started playing Greenville at June, July 2021 and i forgot about the game for 1 year and, coming back just to see this. Its so sad yet dissapointing to see such a big game, fall down because of copyright strikes.
And also i just start to ignore Greenville because of this exact reason. I may quit Greenville if the copyright strikes got worse. And i just want my robux back if the game got deleted, because i spent it on Classic gamepass and Luxury, I almost bought premium costumize because of the fall update.
A whole ass car union said “we don’t want you to PROMOTE our car brands in your game” all because of Lamborghinis ignorance and lack of thought into their decision.
This right here is FACTS.
The car companies are so braindead if they think their cars being on Roblox "destroys" the brand's image, infact Roblox is the reason why I got to know about the newest cars, even some obscure unknown cars or simply every car in general, and these darn companies think their brand is more important than anything else 😂
Come on car companies, your cars being in video games even if they aren't licensed is called *FREE ADVERTISING,* get it? FREE ADVERTISING!! (people look at the car they found on the game, develop an obsession with it and evantually gets the desire to work hard to actually own the car in real life)

I’ve been playing this game for about 5 years now and I can see lots of car brands are getting removed, even my dream car. My memories of this game is getting ruined, was my favorite game of all time and now it’s going down to waste. 😞

I agree in that it was not entirely Driving Empire's fault here, but that it did play a major part in the apocalyptic situtation we are in now. While Roblox does allow loot crates, the decision to add in premium ones which cost Robux to purchase was a bad move. It got some people real mad to a point where they made being a POS online their whole grumpy personality. It's just sad to see all of our favorite games (SWFL, GV, DE, UD, CDID) being brought to their knees because of a guy on Twitter having a really bad tantrum over something they literally don't have to buy.
As a Southwest Florida player, this is really heartbreaking because even in Southwest Florida, the Toyota brand has been wiped out. The entry-level car Toyota Camry is gone, only the entry-level Mazda 3 remains. I’m sorry Doge, this is the end of an era.

Bro, I'm serious... These car companies are wrecking Roblox. It's sad. Just plain... Sad. I can't quit Greenville though. It was one of the first Roblox games I've ever played. But this is going to wreck every Roblox game that includes driving unless the game devs are able to design their own cars.

there was this other video i saw where it showed a picture of a conversation about greenville (posibly the discord server) and the first message stated: "one more copyright strike and gv gets deleted." so that was great news to me with GM on its way off the dealership.
I quit too, ive moved to rensselaer county and im done with greenville till those cars are back. its heartbraking since ive played GV since 2017.
Oh shit I forgot about RC I'm ngl, I still wouldn't give up on GV and other car games like SWFL, it's just been too good of a game, but the end of the rp driving game era is coming to an end, we might aswell enjoy the car games while it last....

As a Scion owner, a Roblox player since 2015, and a Greenville player since Mid-2018, its heart breaking to see your favourite car brand, for me, Scion, to be permanently removed, the mileage, the fun times and memories, the customizations i did to my car, akl gone. The Scion tC didnt even last a year. (3 months). Rip Scion (N3XT)
Ultimate Driving is really underrated because it has really good models and most cars are still there like, if you buy the VIP, you can get acces to all of the deleted veichels, so i think its a great game. Or Drive World cuz its a fun racing game on roblox.

I've been playing greenville for the longest for really only one reason; The wide variety of realistic cars. I want to try and stay optimistic because I've put so much time into this game but it really aint looking good. Very skeptical about the fictional cars because a lot of the ones I've seen from other games look like shit most of the time. Really hoping theres at least a few brands that stay and they don't totally shift to only fictionals.

I’ve pretty much quit too, I only play when it updates but that’s it. This game is suffering a slow and painful death. And also, maybe you should try snow runner, beamng drive, assetto corsa, or fh5 or the new forza motorsport. Those would be my picks.
Rensselear is a game that hasnt had an issue yet but it still is kinda new, but ive been playing greenville for 4 years and it could get deleted if it gets 1 more brand strike

I've played GV since 2019 and I feel so bad that this is how the game is going to end. Now I feel like GV is bad since the majority of the cars have been removed. Now, I have to find another genre on Roblox, and idk what to choose because the driving genre was the only thing I've played, and now it's fading away.

Greenville was really doomed from GV4, models got too realistic and then vehicles got removed. Not surprising but very sad to see.

Im glad that greenville has come to its fall for not accepting anyone back to who has taken a punishment by being banned. I owned all the gamepasses and played since 2020 and this game banned me for hacking. I taken my "punishment" by leaving the game for a year now, still no update. What the hell is there to hack at in this game? So strict for nothing? no wonder the devs of the game are part of the lgbtq+
