- I was first exposed to the offbeat genius of Bill Plympton from the likes of Liquid Television on Mtv or Mike & Spike’s Twisted Animation Festival. This song has always stuck with me so I thought I’d give it a go. Although the simple piano tracks made it difficult to fully extract the original vocals, I cover it towards the end by just harmonizing. This is one of those “one take” covers of mine that I just sit on because I both love and hate my own voice and self. I spend lots of time trying to belt notes and melt faces off so people will think I’m neat and love me so I very much neglect my strong falsetto. Please enjoy this earnest entry in my catalogue of beloved songs I want to share with others. PEACE & LOVE.

You did an amazing job on this cover. I really enjoy the original, but I really imagine you being the voice of the character. Keep up the good work! The tune is such an underrated masterpiece.

@@joshuag6728 The song was written a sung specifically for this animated short. It’s was originally sung by a woman and sped down to sound like a man. I pitched down the music so I could hit the notes when I recorded my version. It’s a cover.
