Several years ago I used to listen to deadmau5's songs, now I'm rediscovering him...
He's on tour right now I and I just saw his concert and I only knew 1 song by him and that was Strobe. It was amazing, im rediscovering him too and I highly recommend you try it out if you want to rediscover it again. was like $70 for a pod that wasnt that far from him

I keep coming back to this song, and I know I'm like 4 years late, but it's also the bassline. The bassline is what helps with the trippy feeling. That plus every 16 bars or so the bassline turns into a synth.
first time I listen this I was high on LSD and at 2:05 my perception was increased at every fucking second .. was the most crazy moment because I didnt know if was the drug making that feeling or just the song was weird ..

For all you saying this is progressive house... This is techno. It's about as close Joel Zimmerman get's to his underground alias "testpilot" as Deadmau5, where he mixes proper techno. You can tell because there are a lot of minimal techno samples in this track. A lot of Deadmau5's stuff is progressive house, but this is far from it. On the other hand, Deadmau5 is in his own league that shouldn't even be labeled as a specific genre. Absolute brilliance.
