If you've watched the show Hank has been living in the Hotel for a while so is probably familiar with the bartender so soon as he sits down they know what he is having.
In my opinion, there will no longer be a series like this. I'm watching it again now after a few years, you can tell that the series has been around for a few years now, which is exactly why I think it's so great and beautifully dirty.
My biggest beef with Californication was that in each episode there would be a chance encounter with someone in random places. Too many coincidences. I almost started thinking it was a running joke with the writers. Just like the episode where Hank sleeps with who happens to be Sasha's mom.
Fair criticism, but I also have yet to meet a woman in the 25 to 35 age group that has seen at least bits of Californication and that didn't tell me they wouldn't have said immediately yes to David Duchovny if he'd hit on them in a bar, let alone if he were as suave as his Hank Moody character.
Moncorp1 Inc: I used to think the same when I watched the show as a teenager. But then when I watched it as an adult I finally got it: Hank Moody is a very attractive character, he's a magnet for what you call coincidences. When he bumps into someone who's playing hard to get, don't be surprised if that someone waited for him to bump into him for 20 minutes.

Hardest part of watching this show is all the cheesy "classic" one-liners that these bitches throw at Hank.. "Hank Moody! As i live and breathe!" "I seem to know something about that considering the circumstances" etc Especially Mia.... omfg how she makes me cringe so hard.
I miss me some Hank and Charlie shenanigans.
How does the bartender just know, what Hank Moody wants!?! That is just, too on point!!! LMAO

I train my bartenders to pour as soon as they see me walk through the door so it's ready as soon as I sit down.
Frequent a bar long enough that isn’t busy and you’ll get this treatment
@@SLOTHLEADFOOT especially if youre a good tipper....
Hank's been living in that hotel for months, the bartender knows his drink order like the back of his own dick

No trick. He'd spent so long in that hotel, the barman knew his usual. Like Alan Partridge in Norwich - but way cooler! Lol!
God bring this show back or a spin off of eddie & sue colinie team would be great
A funny edit of this would be she keeps talking and the bartender keeps sliding glasses to Hank repeatedly
awesome how the glass comes flying in ;)
What song? :D If you mean the one after this scene, it's called "Home Sweet Home" by Mötley Crüe or in this case by Tommy Lee
The song is Remember When by Tom Glynn ;)

That ain't a bar trick, I'm fucking 25 and the bartender at my fav bar always knows what to give me. Some old sneaky trickster I am...

@@ekremozdogan8961 My old bar closed, as with many others. Now my wife does that.

It's not a doco dude.... the show needs to flow and his "chance encounters" are a crowd favourite.

These things happen all the time for certain people. A buddy of mine would always be hooking up like this. It was hard to believe.
also McNulty's wife from the wire lol she's been getting around
That was the whole what is "age appropriate" situation. Mom was not happy about it. 😁😁

Your answer is in the title of the video.

The Natural
The actress Callie Thorne was very good in this comedy series, but I thought she was much better in Rescue Me.
its straight whisky i bet that takes ages to make another.
This is some Fonzie sh*t
There's a simple scientific explanation: his hands magnetize glass [SiO2] when combined with ethyl alcohol [C2H5OH].
What scene is this from?
The tv show Californication
bartender should get a big tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this guy`s cooler than will smiths clean rap. wait for interlude
McNulty not gonna like this one
If I was a single dad I’d get laid as much as Hank, well almost.😂
But I’m single and not a dad so I’m destined to stay single in this day and age😅
1. pour.

None of the women in this show are anywhere near the beautiful Natasha.
