- In this interview with the designer of the lay flat Haven Safari hammock, Derek Tillotson, we hear how he came up with the idea for his unique hammock design, how he designed and launched a product for the first time, and just why he felt the world of camping needed the Haven.

What a fantastic video. Seen so many reviews etc. had my own Haven Tent delivered to Scotland late December. Due to work commitments haven’t had a chance to take it out yet but I’m so looking forward to it. I’ll make a videos review when I finally get out there.

Thank you Dave, great ide with an interview! Thank you Derek!😀 so… Haven tent is great! Hammocks was not for me, though I love the concept, banana lie was just…. not for my back, so… when I saw Haven I knew it was for me! Waited for the XL though and it works fantastic! Finaly I can choose hanging or ground. Now waiting for the safari of course, as an early backer! BUT, To all of you out there. The most GREAT thing is Havens tent support! They have been fantastic! Answer quick, great personal toutch and Never letting you down. So a great Quality product with supergreat support! Thats what makes difference 👍
