  • breathing patterns while swimming freestyle (aka Front Crawl) will help you keep your swim sets interactive, better cardiovascular, lung capacity, better stamina and increased endurance.
Keep Odd patterns to keep the Bilateral Rotation to keep you symmetrical. Breathing every 3rd, 6th, 9th and + if you want.
These breathing patterns will mock a race like feeling because the chest starts to burn, lungs start to burn and stroke starts to fall apart. This is when the mental training comes in and forces you to talk to yourself while swimming to keep every part of your stroke consistent.

It is important not to push your limit . The thing is dont take your breathe in when you really need it take a breathe before you actually need it otherwise you will be exhausted.

Crispin Munoz i want to know where he got this ‘breathing template’ from. Cause as a swimmer i know a crazy amount of swimmers form the amount of competitions i go to and not one of them, be it ether sprinter, middle distance or long distance, that uses 3,6,9 if anything with a longer distance you go from high to low and only go back up if you have the energy, and a 50m sprinter barely wants to breath
