- Join Joe for a talk through the Dan D'agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier. This is a great bit of high-end kit for audiophiles looking to upgrade their hi-fi system with an elegant, beautiful looking amp.
Starting with the aesthetic, the Progression Integrated is relatively minimalist in comparison to some of D'agostino's other amplifiers, but it's great to look at. With copper inlay on the volume pot, visible VU meters and dials complete with luxury watch hands, this amp has a timeless and retro appeal. If you want to a hi-fi system that not only sounds fantastic but looks amazing as well, then this Dan D'agastino amplifier ticks the boxes.
Where functionality is concerned, the Progression Integrated has everything covered as well. Whether part of your home-theatre setup, hi-fi system for music, listening with headphones, via bluetooth, or through the internet, D'agastino made sure this piece of machinery was more than capable of all functions.
Now, for the sound. This amp creates a characterful and warm sound across the high, mid and low ranges. It remains relatively neutral, however, meaning it won't interfere with the music and will do just what it should; amplify! The power and currency of the Progression Integrated means it will wonderfully complement most speakers so you really get the most out of your listening experience without overwhelming.
If you want to come and try the Dan D'agnostino Progression Integrated Amplifier out just give us or one of the team a call to arrange a visit. This goes for all of our equipment, or we can arrange a home visit if you want to get a proper idea of what the system will sound like in your home.

He’s got a version below this coming out soon
A: tell me a bit about this amp
B: it’s an absolute beauty of a machine
ROFL
Every year Class D amplification is spelling the death of the linear Class A & AB amps. The size, weight & inefficiency of the topography has always been a hindrance. For $10K the JRDG Continuum S2 integrated includes a DAC & phono stage, 300w/ch, & a touch of holographic recreation. For more money Aavik provides better sound & engineering. The synergy of these amps is a major consideration.
You know you are listening to an audiophile when they say "Pot" = Potentiometer. A camera closeup when he was describing the rear functions on the receiver would have helped. I would hook up Totems highest priced speakers to it ! Being Canadian I have to play ball.
LOL
If you need the features [about a dozen in this case] of an integrated amp explained to you; don't watch a short vid on a single unit. Watch a vid on audio features.
Phono stage as well 👀
I didnt get the thing u said about some modules that i can buy separately.
If i buy only amp without modules, can i already use it as roon ready device and listen to music out of the box?
No you need the streaming module for that, best contact Joe and he can advise you
it is streamer ready out of the box..
McIntosh 12000 for the win over this piece. Comes with every feature and saves ton of cash. Much better emotional connection to the music with the McIntosh.
mac's are a toy when compared to any D'Agostino... 90% of mac buyers do so for their pretty light's..I didn't give the mac's a thought when pushing my Wilson Audio Sasha DAW's.. The Progression is not only in another ballpark than any mac they are in a whole other Sport!
@@stateniland I compared the 12000 directly to the Progression side by side and clearly you haven't heard the 12000
I do like the Macintosh sound nonetheless, the Dan D’Agostino, the progression and that is more articulate more accurate with more air, just better. I could live with a Macintosh system actually especially with some of the different components. They have such as that hybrid Amplifier, they have is absolutely beautiful in looks and sounds.😅
What type of speakers would profit most from this amp? How would it do with speakers like Focal Utopia that are very analytical (in particular in the high frequency) and need some warmth…. thanks R
Hi Ralph, it works well with Focal, Franco Serblin and Wilson Audio. The Utopia are very analytical so can prefer a warmer amplifier, but this really comes down to the balance of the full system, the room acoustics and your own preference. Feel free to give us a call and we can chat about it
When Dag's are on display they are sitting next to the Wilson Audio line..
I heard this paired with Dynaudio Confidence 20s at Capital Audio Fest and it was intoxicating.
I want one
you hear with your eyes dude, its just science... look it up. but this stuff is OVERPRICED... maybe 1K to build and 5K to market... then what, lets just add another 25K for grins?
says the BOSE owner.
