hi there, what in case i did not follow this installation settings and just did all by default , how can i link the git to the visual studio after the installation has been completed?

for the username and email part, is it just like registering or does it have to be from somewhere?
You can choose any username of email. These are used by git to show who made a particular commit.
I do not have the publish to github icon in the bottom left corner. how do i get it?

If you installed git, and the git-commands are in the path, then git should automatically find and make use of these.
