Welcome to the Apocalypse.
Just another night at the opera
You walk into an abandoned warehouse, its many windows rusted and broken. Inside, a labyrinth of crates, pallets, and other stockpiled materials sprawl out before you, all covered in a blanket of dust. As you make your way through the warehouse following the twisting and turning passages between several stockpiles, you come across a scene. Shell casing strewn about, dusty footprints and dustless lines go off to dark corners of the warehouse where the sun doesn't reach.
There is no blood, no bullet holes. As you follow the trail, you find a partially damaged crate, maybe signs of a scuffle. You peer in, and an unblinking eye stares back at you. You realize now, that the stench of decomposition is thick here, how you could have failed to notice before is beyond you. Panning your flashlight the crate is full of bodies, looking around you see a shoe lice snake through the gaps of a neighboring crate. Horrifically, it dawns on you, this is a tomb *switches track*.
