Space 220 Full Restaurant Experience at Epcot

When visiting Space 220 at Epcot, guests will feel as though they have been transported 220 miles above the Earth to the Centauri Space Station. Once they step off the elevator, they will walk past a Grow Zone of spinning produce and head to their table. Once seated, guests can enjoy panoramic views of Earth alongside their "out-of-this-world" dining experience.

What a great experience. We need attractions like this for tomorrowland at Disneyland. This is what tomorrowland should be all about. Good job Epcot!
This isn't an attraction, it's a restaurant. Attractions come with your admission ticket. It'a pathtic to charge a high admission fee to see Epcot then charge people extra to experience something like this.
Cool elevator effect and the dining area looks, pretty neat. The food menu is just plain to say the least, and sure the prices are out of this world for that kind of plain comfort food items.
U can see the prices, they don't seem too bad. $8-9 for a side
The dinners are $55 for a 3 corse meal which isn’t cheap obviously but for it being this experience at a theme park & it being quality food I don’t think it’s unreasonable
George Jetson showing up on a Jetson 1 would compliment the nostalgia of the dinning experience, in a colossal spaced out way.
I love that. It’s how I want my house actually lol. I can’t wait to go.

I want to say it resembles the dinging hall on Zenon’s space station as it looked in Zenon the Zequel. Except the decor is very dark and achromatic.
Honestly with the description of the Galactic Starcruiser and the promos, this restaurant looks like the exact same model as what they're doing with the Starcruiser. Go into a station, fly up to the Starcruiser (like the elevator) and the ship's bridge seems very similar to the restaurant view. It's like they took the same concept, made one a restaurant, and one a live action roleplay environment. I wonder if that's why they had the astronauts lightsaber fighting, like a joke about the connection between the two.
I would totally eat at this restaurant, the Starcruiser however is too expensive for what it is. And I'm a tremendous Star Wars nerd.
1)did the elevator ride actually feel like you were rising or falling?
2)were the windows individual led panels or did they open up to a gigantic screen outside?
I think this is a pretty cool concept but really missed some stuff. The decor just seemed dated or cheap like the carpet. The overview was nice looking out onto earth but why throw in corny characters with light sabers. You wanna make it authentic well maybe have meteorites or satellites passing by. Not sure if it was the camera but didn't see many stars either. Would be awesome if somehow that space station took you to other planets and moved through space while you ate. Not like a motion simulator but just screens moving through the solar system and then back to the station.
I agree, perhaps it will improve in time.

Looks really cool, but not spectacular enough to make me feel as if I have to eat there. I bet people with kids will love it! It would also be a cosy spot for a couple. I think we're going to go with Rose and Crown with the view of the fireworks. I haven't seen the new fireworks at Epcot yet. They were not doing any fireworks when we were there in March. I feel like it will be a nice addition once it’s not being slammed everyday and isn’t new anymore. Once it’s just another restaurant to pick from it will be better
It would have being cool if there was a meriorite shower and the lights go off and there is lights flashing. Maybe a little shaking. It would make the price worth more. Kind of like I’m rain forest cafe when there are storms.

This restaurant will always be full and not everyone will be able to experience it also because it’s absurdly expensive. I rather have a ride of an iconic and timeless story. Something everyone can experience in the park!
Exactly! There's only 3 rides in the world showcase get dozens of restaurants. Epcot needs rides, not another restaurant.

It's not easy, some dates aren't available for reservations? You have to be smart? Plus you can do this anytime before you book your flight or anything else a lot earlier? 😊😊😊😊

And the Rainforest Cafe is at Disney Springs, where you don't have to pay an extra admission fee to eat there. For this overpriced Space Restaurant you do.

Just to be clear. This doesn't actually go to space. It's a simulation done with led panels in the floor and ceiling and Disney movie magic to simulate what it's like to go to space.
Not gonna lie. This looks pretty alright. Not amazing but not terrible. Just a good add on to EPCOT; will definitely be better once it’s not “new” anymore. I imagine getting a seat is a nightmare currently and for the foreseeable future

Because Epcot aready doesn't have enough overpriced restaurants? You never see Universal build a restaurant inside their parks and hype it up like it's a brand new attraction. All that theming, budget and resources could've gone into an actually attraction that came with your admission price instead of an experience you have to pay an extra arm & leg to see.
