@jimmysgarage9068 I paid $9.99 for mine around 12 or 13 years ago. Had an orange one I bought 20 something years ago at Harbor Freight for probably a similar price that I had to replace because I dropped it off a ladder. Pound for pound the Harbor Freight heat gun might be best buy in the store 🤔

Been looking online to find a solution. My daughter shattered a tooth on a gear. I bought new motors but they aren’t equipped to support the wheel lights. I noticed you didn’t reinstall them. Was it a fitment issue with the new motors?

I bought them from Amazon. Just typed in all the info off the existing motors and found replacements. I’m glad this helped! Thank you for watching 🤘🇺🇸

1:21 you say motor assembly, if I only can find a motor (mine is a dl550-c) can I reuse the housing? it didn’t look like you just replaced the motor you did the motor assembly and I’m curious as to why? Thanks!

The motor and assembly came as one - figured it would be an easier swap. Not sure if you can reuse the existing housing - but if the placement motor has the same holes it should line up? One way to find out! Good luck man.

Well, my previous experience was smashing the gears out of the rear axle so my friend and I could dangerously ride it down a really steep street. That was a lot more fun than this fix.
