  • This video is dedicated to our friend the quadratus lumborum, which is responsible for 80% myofascial lower back pain and refers beautifully to our other friends the gluteal musculature.
Always work bilaterally to incorporate treatment to both the QL's. It is often the case one side will be tensionally loaded and the other is really sensitive and please work safely and slowly gauging your client's comfort.
This is technique is perfect for those that suffer facet joint issues and disc derangements as it reduces the compressive loads to the lumbar discs.

Love this, I see everyone use thumbs and you only can sustain pressure for a fraction of the time. This adds pressure over a wider area for a longer period and you are able to get various angles in less time. Thank you!!

This is exactly what I need and I’ve been to nearly 50 different people for this muscle pain, and they never have done this practice.
