Yes it will work on any older Chrysler radio, that dont have the mode button, but your radio needs to be external CD changer ready CDC button, there is a round 8 pin plug on the back side of the Chrysler 300m radio, pie chry98-aux
there is a diferent auxiliary input in case you want to keep the external CD changer, the interface allows you to input 3 aux sources search online for ( Pie X3-CHRY98 Chrysler 98-01 ) make sure all 3 parts are in the kit some bad sellers sale only the cable or interface by it self oemautosound sends you all 3 parts together you can also buy the same kid from PIE good luck
This is not a universal FM modulator or wireless transmitter, so its not debil this is a hard wire auxiliary input made for chrysler radios only, the signal is clear and very strong
Yes it will work in a 1999 Chrysler 300m but you have to remove the 4 disc cd changer from under the radio, or unplug it also when buying the aux adapter ask for the round plug for your radio most people send it free with the purchase
@bswizzle967 The other way is splicing the audio coming from the external CD player, but i don't have anything else plug into the radio so i have to use the Chrysler auxiliary adapter installation took only a few minutes it is just plug and play no cutting any wires i did run the cable inside the center console and it was a bad idea , so now i got a little jack at front like the new Chrysler radios i use the is335 from pac

Thank you yes there is a way to add a second auxiliary audio input, nnot onlyy that i like this interface because it comes with audio sensing it can detect where the audio comes from and it changes from a to b by itself got to .oemautosound com/pc-386-84-dual-aux-audio-input-interface.aspx
I have a 1999-2002 Chrysler 300M Factory Receiver AM FM Infinity Radio Tape CD Player Equalizer and need an aux that would go into the back of this...mine looks different than the one shown in the video.
Hi there, gr8 video :-) just wondered wot 2 do 2 fit aux port as i have older chrysler from 2001 & it doesn't have anywhere to plug the Aux @ the back of the stereo ?
I purchased the chry-02-aux and did the same thing that was done in the video but when I removed my radio from the dash and looked in the back I noticed that the inputs were on the opposite side than shown in the video. I've a 2000 Chrysler 300M, and purchased the one that you mentioned in the video because you mentioned it would work on older models as well. The inputs seem longer in the back as opposed to the small square like parts. Which one do I need because I have to exchange it. Thanks
Do a search on google for, chrysler auxiliary interface and they will come up buy from a place with warranty ebay and amazon, don't have good warranty if not check under the video for a link
Hey, great video! I have a 2003 Chrysler 300M that I would like to add this AUX input to. I just bought a cassette adapter, but the sound quality is not as good as I had expected. I'd like to keep my external CD changer, radio, and cassette player, if possible... Is there a way that I can add this converter to the back of my radio and have a free plug to plug it into? Also, where is your cassette player? Did you remove it? Thanks!
I have a 1999-2002 Chrysler 300M Factory Receiver AM FM Infinity Radio Tape CD Player Equalizer and need an aux jnput that would go into the back of that.

Would this work on my 05 dodge Durango? I have the oem navigation stereo , it says mp3 but I don't think it has a aux input even with the mode button it only says CD
$75.00 radio that you can purchase at a fleamarquet maybe, a nice radio compare to the factory Chrysler 300m radio will have to be Alpine Pioneer Kenwood and they will cost over $200.00 you need a harness radio kit and antenna adapter, this is not going to look good and not going to match the dash of the Chrysler 300. not only that you lose the infinity amplifier and the steering wheel controls
On amazon someone wrote a review saying that this wouldnt work if you have a 6 disc cd changer is that true.? I dont have mine in i took it out cuz it didnt work but jw if it will work if i buy this.
A new radio Pioneer or Kenwood a lot better, NOOO. I will need a new Radio harness, a Radio kit, those flimsy plastic that anybody can brake and take your radio not only that, the new radio is smaller with small buttons, now the radio sticks out 1/2 of an inch because of the radio kit, I will also need and antenna adapter some type of interface to make the new radio works with the Infinity sound system amplifiers, and for sure I will lose the Center channel speaker, and steering wheel controls also the different radio illumination color, I do have 2 alpine radios, but the lights didn't match and I don't need to replace a broken glass because I when to the movies late at night the Auxiliary input adapter works great sounds clear CD sound quality and looks factory I have now 2 inputs one for iPod with a docking cable and one for aux with a 3.5 headphone jack I will be adding a Bluetooth media kit next week
There are two parts you can use CHRY04-AUX OR ISFM21 this second part is the bluetooth for android you can find them from oemautosound for the auxiliary input to work the Crysler radio needs to be satellite ready or rear DVD ready, but there is no need to change the radio

I have a 1999-2002 Chrysler 300M Factory Receiver AM FM Infinity Radio Tape CD Player Equalizer and need an aux jnput that would go into the back of that.

quick and easy. wonder if it would work for my Ford!
Would this work on my 05 dodge Durango? I have the oem navigation stereo , it says mp3 but I don't think it has a aux input even with the mode button it only says CD

Does the cd player have to work in order for this to work? My car cd player wont take any of my cds anymore ):
My Dodge Caravan 2001 has the same will this work the same way?
The radio didn't ask you for a code. How so?
On amazon someone wrote a review saying that this wouldnt work if you have a 6 disc cd changer is that true.? I dont have mine in i took it out cuz it didnt work but jw if it will work if i buy this.
Hi, would this work on a 2002 Dodge Ram? The radio is exactly the same.
Will this work on a 99 Chrysler 300m?
No you will need the CHRY04 search for
Chysler iPod Interface 2004-2007 CHRY04/PC-POD2
how did you hide the wire?
where can i get an ipod adapter for my chrysler 300 without tearing my car apart. i'm only 16..
Will this work for a Jeep Liberty?
What is the interface called so I can buy one ?
Not possible, the Chrysler radio can understand only one device at the time
Does it work for a concorde 1998??
oemautosound they are $69.00
Will this work on a dodge '06?
would this work for a 2003 300m
I have a 2004 300M Special with stock built in DVD player. Will this work for that also?
No because of the DVD Player, in your case use the X3-CHRY04-AUX or X2 CHRY04-AUX
Will this work on a dodge stratus? Cause I took my stereo out n it has the same connection on The back of the stereo n the stereo kind the same too
Yes the aux input CHRY02-AUX ,will work in any Dodge radio with a mode button
close the damn door beeping is very annoying
what is the name of that thing and does it work for my dodge stratus 2004.
Its the PIE CHRY02-AUX auxiliary interface
It would have been a lot better to just buy a new Pioneer or Kenwood head unit
with built in USB and Aux inputs
A new radio Pioneer or Kenwood a lot better, NOOO. I will need a new Radio harness, a Radio kit, those flimsy plastic that anybody can brake and take your radio
not only that, the new radio is smaller with small buttons, now the radio sticks out 1/2 of an inch because of the radio kit, I will also need and antenna adapter

Hey man is there a way to add aux input to 2001 chrysler radio with twin connectors (no cd changer) please help
Yes there needs to be a round 8 pin plug and a mode or CDC button
use the CHRY98-AUX auxiliary interface
Great news! music in radio is becoming worse every single year! Now i can listen to classics!
for $65 bucks you got just a aux port for $75 you can get a new deck installed that has usb and the ability to hook up subs... pointless
beeping is hella annoying lol
to late for that didn't notice
There are two parts you can use CHRY04-AUX OR ISFM21 this second part is the bluetooth for android you can find them from oemautosound
