I’m back with another unboxing video unboxing my Huawei D15 11th Generation laptop + Accessories. I got it from Huawei Official Store at a local mall in my town.
This video is not about me bragging or anything like that. My Macbook Pro mid-2012 just died and it was already 9 years old. Plus I got it second-hand so I guess it's time for me to upgrade to a new laptop.

I'm also going to be getting this laptop soon for my studies next year but not sure because the battery size is a bit small. I'll only use it to do assignments and watch kdrama here and there or I might get the huawei matebook d14 even though it's only 14inch it has a bigger battery but I need a big screen lol so I guess I'm going for the huawei matebook d15... but any suggestions on how to not drain the battery life?
I've been using this laptop for two weeks now and noticed that the battery does not drain that much except for online classes. I'm a heavy user too but my battery last around 5 hours. I put the battery in battery saver mode and put the power off at 3 minutes. Hope it helps :)

@@ainalsabdani9167 I go to Settings > Power & Sleep > Screen or Sleep. I make it around 3 minutes to save my battery. I also adjust to Best Battery Life when I click on the battery icon at the downbar. Hope this helps! 💕🥰

@@ainalsabdani9167 I try so hard not to use it while charging but sometimes it's hard because my class is around 3 hours each & if I forgot to charge it before, I'll have to use anyway... However, I'll try not to use it while charging if I don't have a class and charge it before it gets to lower than 40% to take care of the battery.

hello! is there any way to make the camera appear elevated? like for example, if i use a laptop stand, will it make the angle not awkward anymore? thank u so much and i really like ur video !!
It depends on what kind of laptop stand you use. I use both a laptop stand + monitor table so it can be able to look like an ordinary camera angle. Howver, you can always buy a webcam to place it whever you like.

Not at all. I’ve checked from time to time to clean the dust & surprisingly no dust or scratches caused by this case. 😊

Hey, how long is your battery life typically? First, when just watching movies? And second, when doing school work (ex. Using google doc, researching, etc.)?
Now that I've use my laptop for more than a year, I think the battery capacity is normal but not excellent. For watching movies, I still have 30-35% battery if I charged it full before I start watching. But this really depends though. Most of the times, I keep the charger on for movie watching. For doing school work + listening to music, mine last for 4-5 hours.

Hi, is the battery okay? Like do you need to charge it everyday or like how many hours will it last if from 100%?
So far the battery doesn’t last that long as I use them a lot for online classes. It’ll last for 3-4 hours if for an online class and if I don’t use much internet and only for typing, it’ll last 6-10 hours only.

The screen quality is alright for me but I recommend you get the new Macbook Pro for the quality of the screen. It's really a difference if it's Macbook Pro screen. 😁

Hi! I'm not sure about Adobe Phototshop because I don't use it but I used this laptop for Adobe Premiere Pro and it ran smoothly without any problems. It has core i5 with 16gb ram so it's just nice for my apps like Adobe. For gaming, it's not a problem for light gaming for long hours like Genshin Impact or Rocket League. I'm not sure about Valorant though.

how is the fan noise?
It's moderate sound for me. Not noisy at all but sometimes when it's really quiet, the fan sound is noticeable.

No my laptop never overheat and the cover so far doesn’t do any damage but of course if you’re using the same, take it off once in a while to clean the dust inside.

I bought it on Shopee. You can type Picun P80X on Shopee. It’ll lead you to the shop.
Hi are you still use this laptop? For editing video. Do you think have the minus for this laptop?
Yes, I’m still using it. 😊 For editing video, Premiere Pro is not that good for this laptop. I changed to Final Cut Pro X and it works amazing. The minus point would be lagging when I share screen on Zoom sometimes.
Is it okay to use keyboard protector?
Yes, it's alright for me so far.
Hi, when at home, do you leave your laptop plugged in all the time or just charge it whenever it reaches low battery?
I reccomend not leaving it plugged in all the time cause it can decrease batterry.
@@tch8634 there's this battery saver thing in Huawei called: Battery Protection which has 3 modes. One of them is called Home mode (which charges up to 70% and u may leave it plugged).
Its also the mode that I use so it wont overcharge.
Should I still follow that method or unplug at 70 and wait til it reaches 30?

Hi. I went to Huawei Official Store here in Malaysia. If you're in Malaysia, the store is at IOI Puchong and I noticed that there are many Huawei Official Store in many malls here. However, if you're in the States, there are no official stores there. You probably need to order from Amazon or Huawei online store. 😅
does it comes with a free microsoft office?
Hi. Really apologize for the late reply. Yes, for mine it does come with Office as the nice lady at the store helped me to install it.

Sejauh ini sangat Ok cuma kelemahannya kadang2 lag kalau sharing screen in Zoom.

I’m not doing med studies but it’s perfect for my Education studies and work. It’s good for online classes too. So far, it’s performance is very impressive for me.

I also wanted to buy i5 but it's so out of my budget 🤣🤣🤣 So I settled for i3 11th gen for RM2,227

Yes, this is so true. Microsoft Teams is fine but when it comes to Zoom sharing screen, it stutters a lot 😔

So far so good. I have no major complains. I have only two complains which are the battery life & the storage. The storage is too small for me as I took a lot of 4K videos and it took quite some space in my laptop. Another one is the battery life which is quite short for heavy usage. I have to charge it quite often in one day as I use my laptop a lot for online classes, part time job & assignments. Anyhow, it's what I paid for so I guess I'll manage. It's still good in other main things though. 😄
