In English, a consonant digraph is a combination of two letters that represent a single consonant sound. Some examples of consonant digraphs in English include:
"sh" as in "shoe"
"ch" as in "chair"

"wh" as in "whale"
Consonant digraphs can be difficult for English language learners because the sound of the digraph is often different from the sounds of the individual letters.
