The Garfield Scary Scavenger Hunts

Let's look back at these great games from the Garfield website that I used to visit all the time in the 2000s. There are many fond memories to be had here! Also some spooky Halloween goodness. And donuts. Can't forget those.

I honestly remember getting really scared of the painting jumps-scare as a kid. Then I showed the game to my older cousin and her friend, and they both laughed at the "spooky" jump-scare, but for me that painting remains one of biggest scares in my life to this very day.

Bro the painting mortified me. Eventually before the jumpscare the painting itself was kind of unsettling so I was super vulnerable and to know it wasn't even relevant hurts even more lol

But man, That darn painting jump scare in SSH2 still spooks me to this day.

Kind of thought you'd mention how you can find Jon in the Hedge Maze in Scavenger Hunt II. Always felt a little bad he couldn't find his way out.
Unless you did so in order to keep the "Good Ending" of him showering in the mansion, that is.

I haven't had sour cream doughnuts, but I do have a cookie recipe that calls for sour cream. I think it's supposed to help them melt in your mouth.

Quite fun these games were! Have you were heard about the official Scooby Doo Movie flash game from around this time with a pretty intense jumpscare at least by kids game standards? I forget the name of it, but seeing as you were such a big fan of the early '00s Scooby Doo movies, maybe that's one for your next Hallowe'en season video!
