I love these developments drive throughs! Yes I’m not a fan of persimmon homes either. At least these houses don’t have their horrible concrete bricks

I actually love the color of red brick on the exterior. What I can’t understand probably cause I am American is the layout for parking and which spots are assigned to which house when I check out the development maps. Why is a neighbors car meant to be in front of ‘my’ house and ‘my’ spot is around back? Do people honor where they are supposed to park? Where can visitors park? Maybe it’s clear after all the homes are occupied and final signage put up? I think semi detached 2 -3 story 2-3 bedrooms home with small garden and not annoying path to get the trash put out is the best with 2 designated parking spaces is the best model. The kitchen should have a proper cabinet for pantry 2 door uppers or top and bottom next to fridge. I think any room meant to be the eating area should not come with carpet as standard. Love the details under the stairs in so many homes and life the ground floor toilet. A 3 bed semi is enough to grow into, with outside space for composting, barbecue, and fresh air in case of global pandemic, maybe even a squash plant for fresh veg in the summer and at the same time not huge for a senior couple whose kids have moved out. Older developments waste a lot of garden space. I think the single bed is okay for the 3rd bed if the room is long enough to fit a single/twin bed and a small wardrobe.

Uff these bare bones Persimmon estates won't age well. They're afforable but in terms of design and finishing of the estate they're one of the worst mass housebuilders
