The reason Mr Bean is known world wide is the lack of the language barrier .
Good point! Where ever you are in the World your natural instinct would be to laugh out loud cause you can see what's unfolding. 😬👍
Here in Germany there weren't even subtitles or translations for the people who DO talk.
@@dermathze700 Yeah, in Greece too. No subtitles but there was no reason for them.
@@MeanAzz_13 Same in France.
Very famous in the Philippines.
There are people who haven’t watched Mr Bean? How!?
Exactly. How's that even possible that there's people who never watched mr. Bean??
I loved Mr Bean
I've asked Americans online and out of like 20 I asked only 1 knew what he was.
@@louiehorwood660 Dame that's actually sad. So many people having experienced his genius comedy.
Right? I'm Danish, 29 years old, and I saw Mr. Bean at my grandfather's house when I was little. He was a big fan, lol.
Its not a Brit thing (the car padlock) its s mr bean thing lol
emrys n
the fact that there was a laugh track for that part should have told them that it's a Mr Bean thing.
Americans, right?
I can't believe they even questioned it as actually being a thing🙈
@@NefariousDreary bloody pirates
"Is this the 70s" 😂 no, it was the 90s & only Mr Bean padlocked his car. Us Brits are not so mad lol
Not sure if he was asking when it was made, but when it was set.
@@JonCombo it was set in the current day when it was made, so still the 90s . And the padlock is a gag. The joke is no one actually does it. Us brits are not so literal in our comedy.
@@robhollywood647 That's what I thought. However, I don't know what he was thinking.
You should. Padlock keys are far more unique than car keys. You can go online right now and order a few common keys and let yourself into a whole lot of cars
@@ashscott6068 you can also pick a padlock, which is way easier than picking a carlock..
Mr Bean is like a child in a man's body. One of my favourite shows!
He is Rowan Atkinson said in an interview that Mr Bean is based on him as a kid.
Your daughter is a ninja, just appeared out of nowhere.
For real 😂
not daughter...she's a paid actress
Nin Nin!
Love Mr Bean ... The Christmas episode with Beans baby Jesus in the barn made with toys is absolutely hilarious 😎😂
As soon as you see the Dalek and T Rex, i'm gone and laughing on the floor.
I love how you guys get things just a little wrong.. 'Bobbin', A+R lol
Typical Americans
The church or exam episodes would have been 2 good ones to check out
haleluya, haleluya, haleluuuuuuu... uuuuu... uuuuu... yaaaaaaa!
(only hardcore mr. bean fans will get it)
The airplane one where he's sat next to the boy!
@@explorer47422 That was done in the movie as well
Hey were did you come from? I’ve seen you 1000 times on sesskasays channel .
Hello! Lol yes, I'm normally not too far from reaction channels =] I do bits and pieces of Jess so yeah I'm normally around the comments.
My favourites were Mr Bean in a department store, especially when buying a frying pan and trying to get his charge card back from someone else's pocket. Hilarious.
Rowan Atkinson based the character of Mr Bean on a nine year old boy and what a nine year old would do, so you could say he's a nine year old in a grown ups body. In fact Mr Bean is an Alien visiting Earth if you watch some episodes in the opening credits there is a beam of light as he is dropped down from what could be a spaceship.
@unitedkingdom offiveeyes I think there's an early interview of Rowan Atkinson describing Mr Bean as an Alien visiting Earth.
Mr bean is based on a highly autistic but smart adult.
A statement of incredulity is "What planet are you from?",
Beans intro where he is beamed down infers that it ain't this bloody one :-D
Huh. I always, as a kid, thought that it meant Mr. Bean kept dying from some silly escapade off-screen and the episode started with him getting kicked out of Heaven because God just got fed up with him, lmao. I guess it's because whenever I saw that intro on a tape my mom would borrow from the library, there was an angelic choir in the background.
My theory of from the actual one is on the cartoons he gets taken by a spaceship full of mr beans. So my guess is the unanimated version is based on that scene. That’s my theory
The funniest mr. Bean is the Christmas one. The bit with the turkey is hilarious.
When your daughter appeared out of nowhere near the starting of the 2nd clip, it reminded me of Mr. Bean saying "Magic!",SNORT,SNORT!!!
As a Briton I find this hilarious! GOD BLESS
The episode where he headbutts the Queen is the best
I like the Examination one the most 😂
Where he Prepared for Trigonometry but he by mistake found that question paper just 2 min. Before exam gets over 😂😂😂
I love when he plays with that Christmas store,he brings a dinossaur to attack Jesus😂😂
Have you seen the chandelier sketch in only fools and horses ? Classic.
What's always funny about Mr Bean is just the process of he gets out of a difficult situation or how he gets into a difficult situation
Or him getting out of a difficult situation ends up getting him into another difficult situation
Mr Bean is an alien he gets beamed down at start of episode
try watching the christmas one were Mr Bean cooks a turkey
If you want to get a idea of what Rowan Atkinson is like in real life then he is on BBC Top Gear
Hahaha, that surprise when the video ends and it turns out your daughter was sitting there all along. That might've been the best part of the video, tbh. She's just the cutest thing :)
I like the girl who knows whats going on while the guy doesnt lol
oldschool? The actor of Mr. Bean might age but the comedy is still very popular. Universal!
Try the turkey stuffing sketch or getting changed on the beach.
the one that friends stole ? lol
Hmmmm, that and painting the house blue.... 🤣
Might have just ran 2 skits together.
Seems confusion is funny..
The airport one
The turkey sketch is one of the best!!
The swimming pool one is a classic and the funfair one
"A regular guy caught in awkward situations" Wouldn't describe him as regular. You're thinking more of Basil Fawlty.
The strange thing with Rowan Atkinson's comedies is that the only country that doesn't really get it.is the USA, elsewhere this comedy is a massive success, even with Johnny English. The only British comedian who has gone down big time in the US was Benny Hill!
Benny Hill is smutty perhaps that's why!
Benny Hill I loved him when I was a kid thats some good clean fun right there.
has nothing to do with getting it. .. its just normie comedy
I think the Christmas shopping scene is one of the best Bean moments, esp when he's playing in the manger model display. That and the Hotel sequence from a different episode where we ends up locked out of his room. Those are great!
I think the order in which the episodes came out are the best way to introduce people to Mr Bean, just like it was intended. The Exam is a perfect example of his behaviour and also the inventiveness of the scripts. There's some really good stuff in the 90's series.
What I don't like about "clips" is that they don't show you the full sketch, which are always full of set ups and pay offs, they might work as individual bits but there's some very clever stuff in which the sketches end.
changing on the beach almost killed me i couldnt breath from laughing
Putting on his trunks without taking off his trousers 😂
Two of the funniest skits by Mr. Bean is him trying to get pants on and another trying to close a suitcase. Somehow he stretches those to near 10 mintues and its comedy gold
Mr. Bean has been one of my favorite childhood comedians!!! Rowan Atkinson is too funny!!
My favourite of Mr Bean has to be the clip where he tries to sleep and he tries everything he can to try fall asleep, also the Christmas specials are very funny
4:37 Mr. Bean teases the man in the bandage because the man in the bandage can no longer move properly.
For me, Mr Bean is a child in an adult's body.
my fav mr bean bit was the christmas one. it was too funny
And over here its not A&R, its known as A&E standing for accident and emergency haha
The guy he falls asleep on in the church is not only in the Thin Blue Line with Rowan, but also in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, in which Rowan plays a trainee Vicar, performing his first wedding ceremony.
If you haven't watched the segment where he makes his lunch in the park, please do. It's brilliant.
Rowan Atkinson is good ol' British style humor at it's best! I'mma big fan! 👍
I've seen Mr bean on TV's around a dance floor in Thailand, in a bar in China, on a flight in Africa, on a reception TV in a hotel in Vietnam. Truly a universal show
The ER (Emergency Room) in the UK used to be A & E (Accident & Emergency) but more recently, it's known as the ED (Emergency Department).
The one where he goes to the Laundry Mat is a good one.
The Christmas Nativity scene! Come on, THAT is the best one!
Its great you guys like our British sense of humour😂🤣
Look at Mr.Bean shopping scene or Exam scene. There are many which are innocently fun and no one gets harmed in the process lmao
Mr. Bean Back to School is my favorite.
Did anyone notice that the mother sitting next to Mr Bean is Mrs Tishell (the pharmacist) in Doc Martin?
My favourite Mr Bean sketch is when he orders Steak Tartare in a restaurant, doesn't like it, and then spends the rest of the sketch trying to dispose of it in various ways. My 6 year old nephew watched the film 'Mr Bean's Holiday' recently and really enjoyed it.
The laundry, the cinema and the beach are classics!
we call it A&E, accident and emergency. and this isn't how NHS hospitals always are - this is people who are in an emergency and couldn't have had appointments. 😂🌺
The bride in that sketch ended up as Bionic Woman which got cancelled. She's also in Jekyll which was a superb series with an Irish actor as the lead.
OML MR. BEAN WAS MY CHILDHOOD!!!!
Mr Bean actually doesn’t realy get repetitive because he always comes up with great ideas
Hello my fellow americans lol.. Im 37 yrs old grew up in New York.. And i remember as a kid i was HBO use to play Mr. Bean late at night or early in the morning, its hilarious..
But i wanna say you two are a great couple and me and my wife loves your channel. We've been watching you for about a week. God bless you and your family.. You have New subscribers here..
Welcome and God bless you and yours!
the funniest MR BEAN IS when he drives the mini from the roof.
The intro to the show suggests that he was dropped to earth by aliens or that he might be one. He does not get social norms it's like he watched a basic how to be a human video. Now he is on earth just living it getting I to trouble along the way.
he isnt alien ,he just as alien ways due to his autism behaviour
Perhaps the aliens brought him back because he wasn't a proper representation of the typical human 😂
they retroactively validated him being alien in the animated series when he meets others of his species
Fun fact: according to Atkinson himself, Mr. Bean is an Alien. The title sequence is him falling from the sky - that's to be taken literally, apparently. That's why he's so unaware of his faux pas.
The wedding scene wasn't in an actual episode. It was done for comic relief. I think it's one of the best
Judging by the clothing, it's the late 80's. That kids shell suit would've been flammable as very dry wood, they were terrible back in the day. It is called A&E = Accident and Emergency.
You guys pick the best stuff!
I'm surprised that the toilet sketch from Not The 9 O'Clock News hasn't been suggested yet.
Rowan Atkinson described Mr Bean, as being a child in a man's body, he has a teddy bear with him, called teddy, and a Christmas episode, he post Christmas card to himself, and plays with naivety set.
@LesterPiglet Gregg yep
You should have watched the sketch of him waiting to meet the Queen, that has a classic ending! XD
should of been the church scene from the first episode where trying to eat his sweet.
best scene. or the one where hes trying to cheat in an exam.
Wait, that wasn't just that? That was cut terribly off the best part!
Love your take on our humour. Love you and your family. We have been very exposed to American humour through TV and it works for me but I am guessing that a lot of our stuff just doesn't work in the US.
That's why they have to rewrite our comedies for the American audience. ..mad ain't it?
Really enjoy your posts. Rowan Atkinson and David Haig (the father of the bride in the Bean clip) star together in a comedy series called 'the thin blue line'. Would love to see what you think of that. There are full episodes on CZcams, but you can also get clips. Perhaps try Insp Grim best bits. There are a few out there.
One of my favorite Mr. Beans was him trying to get signal for his TV.
For old school British comedy check Fawlty Towers, Monthy Python, Dad's Army, Black Adder. 90s stuff like Mr. Bean is also amazing of course.
You are still an Amazing Family, From over there, but now over here. Please keep posting, love your good work. And as Blackadder used to say! Zippity Zan Zak my little Skipjack Tuna, And a tally ho matey.
My favs of Mr Bean are the one where he's about to meet the Queen, and the Birthday one.
I thought it funny that you laughed the most when someone got hurt..
Mr Bean is great. Grew up with him, very funny with no words.
My late Dad loved Mr Bean. As English wasn't his first language he could understand the humour as it was more visual.
I love Mr Bean series .he is NOT the typical British man, and we don't padlock our cars. Mr Bean is a very strange person, not too bright, Rowan Atkinson who plays him is a brilliant and intelligent and hilarious actor. The other church episode is great as is the exam one, changing on the beach one, and the one wear he is a line up to meet a royal. it's meant to be embarrassing and also what would you do if you were in the same boat as him. I love lots of USA comedy shows, friends, Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, Frazier, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons the list goes on and on.
They are good actors.. don’t tell me you haven’t watched Mr bean. Well played
In America, the Emergency Room is just called the Emergency Room or the E.R.
Yes I think as time goes by is a good one to watch as the acting in the series was stunning. It made a legend out of Judy
The opening clip, the Ambulance,I used to build those at Wadham Stringers coachbuilders Waterlooville Hampshire.
Hilarious I love mr bean. The exam scene is top notch also
Did you know he was also the voice of Zazu in The Lion King, and many other acting jobs
The UK"s "emergency room" is called A&E (Accident and Emergency).
"Bobby'" derived from Sir Robert Peel, the founder of the British modern police force. 😎
Great Reaction Video!👍🏻 I love Mr. Bean! Subscribed!😊
I know it did make it over to America, but have you ever seen Absolutely Fabulous? If you havent, I would recommend clips from season 1
A neighbour of ours who was born deaf would watch Mr. Bean for hours. She didn’t need the sense of hearing to be able to laugh.
The father of the Bridge, is in another Rowan Atkinson comedy, called the thin blue line, a very different style to Mr Bean
Bride? Darned predictive text.
React to One Foot in the Grave.
I second that motion.
@@GodlessScummer the one with the skip. It just Cripples me.
YES!!! One Foot in the Grave!! May not be funny by an American perspective though! Black Adder was brilliant, but may not be funny from an American point of view.
"i dont believe it"
@David Blyth I didn't know that. 'I don't believe' Bill Cosby would be as good playing Victor Meldrew. Nuances all wrong.
It's an NHS Minor Injuries Unit adjacent to A&E where triage decides your place in the queue - all free at the point of delivery.
Ah! My childhood model! I used to watch it everyday on TV after returning from school! Back then I didn't knew anything called CZcams!
Looks like Sean Astin at 7:51. "Thanks. At last."
Bobbies are the affectionate word that the British public has for police constables (derived from Robert Peel who started the police force). We are proud of them, because almost alone in the civilised world, the ordinary policeman carries no gun.
this is from about 1990/91, the funniest Bean sketch ever is where he is on a park bench and he makes a sandwitch,, please check it out
Who else had no idea his daughter was there till the end when screen went away 😂
Guys, check out the very first Mr Bean episode where he cheats at the exam !
I watched this on pbs when i was a kid
A n E accident and emergency 😂
What?!
A&E
@@MRLCSisamazing Accident and Emergency
I didn't even notice that girl sitting next to his father 😂😂😂
The British term for emergency room is indeed A&E (Accident & Emergency) :)
I love Blackadder starring Rowan Atkinson! He is so funny.
How can there are people haven't watched mr bean???
