- Today we went and picked up my 36 compact from Devin of PNW Performance. I needed to get this thing caged quick and simply. Dropped it off before I went to Irwindale, Then poof picked it up when I arrived home. For the price and time, the cage is amazing. Fitment is tight and well thought out, Interior pieces all fit back, and there is a great amount of headroom, which it key for a street car. PAINTING IT, was a different story lol. It was hard not overspraying all over everything, but it ended up perfect with some thinner removal after. You'll see in the next video!

this was great to watch.. maybe next time use a clear coat spray can to protect from rust and you'll hardly see the overspray
Ive been on a clear coat kick lately. Keep that raw look with no rust and dont have to worry as much about overspray. If you feel fancy sand it all down first. Funny ass video dude lol.

I feel your pain brother every time I go to paint something it ends up being in a tight corner and by the time I'm done my glasses are covered in overspray I got to get paint thinner out on a rag and then repolish my lenses it's such a pain in the ass I mean it's worth it cuz it looks good when it's done but fuk so much Havoc is reached in the path
I was fucking dying watching this lol.
I just painted my cage but the car is fully stripped and that was still hard to get everything covered. I used rustoleum also but with a normal nozzle not the trigger nozzle, the paint worked great.

Oh man when I saw it was rust oleum I knew that was gonna happen! haha. It was the same in my case, the first one went all shit and returned the rest. Apparently is the fancy nozzle that looks cool but doesn't work too well... better stick to the normal cans ;)

Maybe its a dumb question, but do chassis used for drifting wear out, loose rigitdity or something elese, cause I keep seeing people sell perfectly good drift cars for verry little money?
freedomlifemake 25 nah, people just move on. Learn new things and apply them to the next chassis. Drift cars don’t sell for much due to the abuse and the market
