dreamgirls
Dear Evan Hansen, Grease, Cinderella, The Prom
Maybe you should do the ones with T.V. shows, you know -- (Austin and Ally, Glee, Julie and the Phantoms, Big Time Rush, Victorious, How to Rock, High School Musical the Series, School of Rock, A.N.T Farm, etc)
Hamilton
Rocketman...a lot of your list is ridiculous...
I remember watching Moulin Rouge in the movie theater with my late husband, who I was dating at the time. We both laughed & cried at the exact same moments during the film. The experience made me love him even more.
I despise that movie…..like with an unreal intensity. Reading your comment, I just got such a warm feeling about it that I’ve never had ever. I’m so happy this movie was made, if just for you and your husband. 🤣🤣
@@Iggystar71, thank you for taking the time to write something so kind. I hope you have a great year!
@@ma53jg You too!!! 🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing your story. It was beautiful.
I saw Moulin Rouge on a date with an ex who is also no longer with us. I’d dare say it’s where I fell in love with him. I’m sorry for your loss.
"Chicago." Catherine Zeta Jones BLEW. MY. MIND. I had no idea, none. And "Cell Block Tango" is one of the most amazing numbers of all time. Glad "Across The Universe" was in there, almost everything about that movie was just so beautiful (except one scene, for me).

1. Chicago
How was the sound of music not on this list 😢
@@BeXi999 because it was not made in this century
phantom of the opera is top 3 for sure i see u did put it as a honest mention ty
Burlesque is my favourite musical ever but everyone underrates it, Cher and Aguilera delivered great songs!!! But yes La La Land, Chicago and Enchanted are some of my favourites but Burlesque is my all time fav musical
Yes!!! I absolutely adore Burlesque!!! You are so right about it being underrated
I agree! Burlesque is often underrated and it's great!
Burlesque is definitely underrated. It is one of the best movie musicals. Great acting, great singing, great story.
Burlesque should have made the list.
2 awesome voices
Tick, Tick...BOOM! not even being in the top 10 almost made me cry. My favorite movie of all time.
It really is a masterpiece
Possibly the best Broadway to the screen adaptation I've ever seen. What a special film.
Agreed. It spoke to me on a really profound level.
In the Heights is my favourite musical. Makes me proud of my Hispanic heritage.
Musicals are my favourite film genre, and in 2021 alone, we got so many incredible musical movies! 😍♥️🎶
Seriously. I think Lin Manuel-Miranda is the new god of this genre. Both “In the Heights” and “Tick Tick BOOM” were INCREDIBLE.
(I had a lot of criticism of the changes made to “In the Heights,” but it was still very enjoyable.)
Obviously this was made before ELVIS. But how could ROCKETMAN be on here and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY not be?
Doesn’t it qualify as a musical? Freddie Mercury? QUEEN?
Oscar for Best Actor and nominated as Best Film?
Big mistake.
,e too
Mama Mia was the last play me and my boyfriend saw. We were together for 33 1/2 years before he passed from a massive stroke. He loved this story. In fact Dancing Queen was played at his memorial. I miss you so much Otis! Rest in Peace. I'll be with you when it is our time again.
Dam, seeing "The Greatest Showman", "In the Heights", and "Tick Tick Boom" not even in the top 10 hurts. TGS is one of the greatest movie musicals ever, despite some historical inaccuracies. Every song deserves an award. ITH is incredibly underrated, it's kinda disheartening to see how no one is talking about it. TTB might possibly be the best movie musical ever. So much heart went into it its just impossible to not cry.
and beauty and the beast shouldnt have even been on there
i can give u some evidence proving that the greatest showman is terrible as fuck :)))
I don't feel like tick tick boom and the greatest showman have to be there but in the heights absolutely! The music is stunning and the plot line convincing, emotional and fun. What more could you want?
While Dreamgirls is SO bad¡ Jennifer Hudson is a terrific singer but the movie wasn't.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Jason Segel deserved an Oscar for writing The Muppets, or a nomination at the very least. Clearly, adapting a decades old tv show into a movie is incredibly challenging (Bewitched, anyone?) and he smacked it out of the park. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an actor more truly down to his soul happy than he clearly was to be singing and dancing with a muppet. He made it clear in an interview from years before he ever wrote the film that it was his dream to be on The Muppets, and watching him live his dream coming true is one of my favorite film moments ever!
Moulin Rouge never gets old 😭❤️
I saw Chicago on broadway and though I enjoyed it, I actually liked the movie better!
saaaaame
Would have liked at least an honorable mention for Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2001 movie with John Cameron Mitchell.
Honorable mention? It should have knocked a couple of these off the list.
It should have been on the official list!
Seriously!!! Also, where’s Grease??
How is The Producers not on this list. Wayyy better than at least half the list!
Being a Hugh Jackman lover I was so excited about THE GREATEST SHOWMAN and couldn’t wait to see it. Fortunately, the soundtrack was released a couple of weeks before the movie hit the theaters. I loved it, listening to it multiple times before I got to the theater.
I was furious at crititcs’ ‘reviews’/hatchet jobs of that beautiful film. It was bombing at the box office.
Then, that wonderful thing called “word of mouth” took over and everything exploded.
The public knew what was great about GREATEST SHOWMAN.
I don’t remember any musical before having ‘sing along’ showtimes in movie theaters.
It showed critics nobody cared what they thought.
One of the fondest memories I have just prior to covid was Hugh Jackman coming to Brisbane do to a concert- EVERYBODY sang along to all the Greatest Showman songs, and we all broke out into song on the train heading back into the city after the concert. That never, ever happens in Brisbane
I felt Moulin Rouge should’ve been #2 at least, I felt it was better than La La Land IMO, Im Glad Chicago is #1 I Love That Movie! I wish I could go to a Fosse Dance Class!
Completely agree! Moulin Rouge was robbed on this list.
Frankly, both Moulin Rouge!, and La La Land alongside Chicago are equally better. To each to its own.
I agree!
Everybody's Talking About Jamie should DEFINITELY have been included somewhere! Also, In the Heights should have been further up on the list.
Everybody's Talking About Jamie was underrated and overlooked. Reasons that it's not on this list.
I personally loved the stage production of ETAJ but the movies was not the best x
I'd never even heard of Everybody's Talking About Jamie until reading your mention of it today. Just finished watching it - very impressed, thanks for the recommendation!
@@Dadtheimpaler So glad you checked it out and that you liked it! :)
The Phantom of the Opera in honorable mentions? This movie is so f*ing underestimated by folks and it breaks my heart. Everything in it - starting from music and costumes and ending with actors - is waay better than Beauty and the Beast or Into the Woods.
As much as the singing was better than those other two, Phantom had a ton of other issues (directing, choreography, lighting, framing, and costuming) that overall make it worse than Beauty and Woods.
The Phantom of the Opera was a mess (except for Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson, along with the costumes, production design and music), considering the late Joel Schumacher (who infamously made Batman & Robin) directed it.
Also, Beauty and the Beast and Into The Woods had its own good costumes, production design and music of its own along with The Phantom of the Opera. To each its own.
Not hardly. Especially not BATB. 💯
@@ajpat9620 one bad directorol movie does not always break a director many directors bounce back and TPOTO was not as bad as people claim
Also, the biggest problem with Beauty and the Beast was the fact that they auto tuned the heck out of all the actors. Especially Emma, and in the times the auto tune broke, she actually sounded good
I think The Greatest Showman should have been a LOT higher on the list. The soundtrack is absolutely incredible and one of the very few on the list with completely orignal music.
The Greatest Showman was horrible and the soundtrack was overproduced as crap, to the point that it's unbearable, not to mentioned that the movie along with the songs as a whole, had a full of woke preaching BS garbage into it, which treats the audiences like fools and idiots (of which audiences don't like being preached at).
Making matters worse, it even rip-off the musical and visual styles of Moulin Rouge!, of which that movie along with the soundtrack, was way better and superior than the likes of the trash fire🗑️🗑️🗑️🔥🔥🔥🔥 that is The Greatest Showman.
Honestly, the 2018 version of A Star Is Born, SHOULD HAVE taken that spot away from The Greatest Showman. Like, A Star Is Born 2018 version is better compared to that The Greatest Showman.
that lasted disney flim the one with the song "we don't talk about bruno" is a original song and that flim has lots of original flims. (I can't spell the name of the film thou)
@@ajpat9620 man you're literally under every comment about TGS. We get it, you don't like it lmao
@@sadnoises1968 TGS is simply and literally a terrible movie, and *THAT IS A FACT* and no questions asked.
And the entire point is that, you fools really can't handle the truth of how terrible it is.
@@ajpat9620 its not really a fact, its an opinion
Yet another Musical list, yet another time the utterly brilliant Sing Street can't even get an honorable mention. Sing Street is an utterly brilliant Coming of Age Musical, that contains powerful themes about freedom, love, courage, and living without regrets. It is an utterly beautiful film directed by John Carney, the man who directed Once, and it in my books was better than La La Land which completely overshadowed it.
I agree. I was hoping to at least see it in honorable mentions :(
thank you! I was just coming down to say the same thing!
And I agree, it sadly suffered for releasing at the same time as La La Land with much less marketing and hype around it
Oh my god, this is the first time I've seen someone mention Sing Street who wasn't me! I adore La La Land but man, Sing Street is my all time favourite movie.
This list is garbage. Seeing the live action Beauty and the beast on here helped me realize that.
@@zoneout116 That movie was NOT garbage and rather, it was a good and decent movie. Its ratings and reception PROVE THAT.
RT -
Critic Rating: 71% (Fresh)
Audience Rating: 80%
Metacritic -
65% ("Generally Favorable")
Furthermore, the one that is considered garbage within the list is The Greatest Showman and its inclusion on the list (that are considered as good musicals) is a huge mistake, let alone the fact that The Greatest Showman is a horrible musical and its terrible ratings speak for itself.
Good timing! We (my family) are doing musical month. We are watching one random musical every day. Today was dreamgirls! Fantastic music and Jennifer Hudson is amazing.
Speaking of Jennifer Hudson, she's also great as Aretha Franklin.
Just watched dreamgirls today 🤩🤩
Be sure Burlesque is on your list. You won’t be disappointed!
I’m very surprised not to see Bohemian Rhapsody off the list. Let alone not get a mention.
It's not a movie musical, it's more of a biopic.
@@maricay7917 Yeah but they mentioned Pitch Perfect, also not a musical!
@@emptycarousels3950 oh I completely agree with you there! That should not have been mentioned.
Didn’t they even mention Rocketman at one point?
@@reneebush2399 yea but Rocketman still plays as a jukebox musical. The songs are mostly used in a musical setting type of way whereas Bohemian Rhapsody, all the singing is from the band recording songs or performing. No one is breaking out into song and dance. It is right on the line of a musical but don’t feel it really counts overall.
I was not expecting to see across the universe on this list. It's one of my favorite movies so it's kind of dope.
Me too ❤
Tick Tick Boom is one of the best movie musicals of all time, let alone this century. Definitely deserves top 5. Meanwhile, the adaptations of Beauty and the Beast and Rent are probably on my top 20 worst musicals of all time list, so yeah. Disagree with you there, Ms. Mojo. Top 3 for me (based on how much I love and want to rewatch them) are 1. Tick Tick Boom, 2. Hairspray, and 3. Moulin Rouge. Also - an omission - no Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog?
I think the 2005 Rent movie was wonderful! Especially as someone who jumped on the Rent bandwagon long after it closed on broadway, I really appreciate not only the fact that there’s a movie version, but also that they brought back 6 of the the original broadway cast members! That’s very rare for movie remakes. Although I do agree on the Beauty and The Beast one, the live action remake was lackluster, the costumes where incredible though.
Really want to give this a like as I completely agree with the vast majority of it but I cannot get behind calling RENT one of the worst of all time
Though respect for the Dr Horrible mention!
@@Laura-tp2jl were* incredible
Thank you for including Once. I never hear much about it anymore. It's amazing!
Nobody ever talks about Nine. It was one of my favorite modern musicals. I fell in love with Fergies voice. What a beautiful talent.
When this list includes most of your favorite movies, you know that you are a musical fan 🥰🥳

9. Enchanted
8. Dreamgirls
7. Once
6. Les Miserables
5. West Side History
4. Moulin Rouge
3. Hairspray
2. La La Land
1. Chicago
Honorable mentions: The Phanton of the Opera, The last five years, Mary Poppins Returns, Pitch Perfect, Rocketman
The Greatest Showman was utter woke garbage, let alone that it is a terrible musical. A Star Is Born 2018 is more worthy candidate to take the #17 spot away from that The Greatest Showman garbage movie.
Can I just say I feel like this list was spot on. Except for a few minor issues here and there. But Chicago's Cell Block Tango, specifically Catherine Zeta Jones is probably one of the most beautifully done musical scenes I have ever seen. It just feels powerful and vindictive along with the imagery to go along, that song makes the musical in my opinion. I watched La La Land on a Cruise Ship Dive-In Theater around midnight for the first time, and as a member of a Jazz Band it touched my heart. I felt like the characters were relatable but the movie itself was quite dreamlike. It was just a perfect movie. And Hairspray is just Hairspray. You cannot get much better than that movie. I could watch it over and over again and be happy.
La La Land touched my soul in a way i can't even explain. I think bc the 2 things i want most in life are to live happily with the love of my life and to be a successful actress i just 🥺🖤✨ and the thought of having to choose between them?!😭 also the music!!!!!!! Yeah, great movie
The Greatest Show Man deserved to be in the top 5.
I didn’t expect Sweeney Todd to be in this list, but I’m so happy it is… It’s such a good musical 🛐
yeah
Yes!! finally someone who understand my love for that musical
Its my joint top favourite movie of all time. That and it has alan rickman in it 😄
Yes, absolutely! I think it´s a bit underrated, bc it´s probably not everyone´s cup of tea so to say 😂 - But I personally love everything about it. The music, the overall dark atmosphere, the tragic story and the acting and singing of the cast members was just great! I´m glad they mentioned Johnny Depps singing abilities in this video. His voice was just perfect for the character and he was able to show all the deep and different emotions in his voice.
I love this list!
All my faves are on here!
Moulin Rouge (2001) - Love it!
Chicago (2002) - Again, love it!
Phantom of The Opera (2004) and Les Misérables (2012) - Love them/My literal childhood!
My Favorite is Tick Tick Boom I hope Andrew Garfield wins
Granted, that's gonna be a tough competition, considering the other nominees that Andrew Garfield is facing, such as Will Smith for King Richard, Benedict Cumberbatch for The Power of the Dog, Javier Bardem for Being the Ricardos, and Denzel Washington for The Tragedy of Macbeth.
I love hairspray!!!! Watched it gazillion times!! ❤️
In terms of “which of these would I most want to watch on a given night?” The answer is easily In The Heights. It’s so joyous and beautifully filmed.
20: High School Musical 2
19: Beauty and the Beast

15: Across the Universe

13: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

9: Enchanted
8: Dreamgirls
7: Once
6: Les Misérables
5: West Side Story
4: Moulin Rouge!
3: Hairspray
2: La La Land
1: Chicago
I would have put Rocketman in the top 20 instead of just Honorable Mention, but I definitely agree that Once belongs near the top! Such a lovely little film with music that matches any movie on the list, and I appreciate that it’s one of the rare examples of a musical written for the movies and not adapted from the stage nor a remake.
I grew up watching Hairspray every month or so with my family. I adore that movie
The last five years is amazing 😭 more people need to watch it
Chicago and Moulin Rouge is my favourite musical forever! Best songs and show in my opinion. And talented and great cast.
Burlesque with Christina Aguilera and Cher should DEFINITELY be on this list. Underrated AF.
Someone else mentioned this as well. Happy to see I’m not the only one who feels this way
My favorites: Guys and dolls , sound of music , la la land , Anastasia , viva Las Vegas, mamma Mia and Grease
In the Heights world be my #1 choice. What a pure hearted and joyous masterpiece
I love hairspray and the greatest showman!! I need more zac Efron musicals!!
The Greatest Showman, one horrible musical movie. Terrible.🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤮🤮🤮🤮
@@ajpat9620 i get it, you don’t have taste. That’s okay! 💕
ok
@@jwindsor6274 You really don't the entire point, don't you? The Greatest Showman was downright terrible.
Also, I have a taste and a perception to see and identify a good musical and a bad musical, and to say that I had no taste is a wrong judgement of yours to say.
@@ajpat9620 it’s not that deep calm down 😂
I LOVE Dreamgirls, Rent, High School Musical,
Along with Let it Shine, Lemonade Mouth, Rags, A Cinderella Story (Franchise)
Here's a few they missed:
.Muppets Most Wanted (2014)
.The Producers (2005)
.Aladdin (2019)
.Cyrano (2021)
.A Star Is Born (2018)
Also I wonder if there will be a top 20 worst movie musicals of the century so far list?
Aladdin (2019) was a mess (despite some good performances from Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Jasmine), and it ain't fit to be on the list here.
A star is born isnt a musical.
Dear Evan Hansen and Cats for sure have to be on top 20 worst
Me in the whole video:
"Where is la la land? I love this one too, now where is la la land? Holy shit where is la la land"
La La Land shows up
Me: "AAAAAAAGH"
I can't believe that they didn't even mention "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey". It was an incredible movie with a great cast, a heartfelt narrative and amazing music courtesy of John Legend. I honestly believe that it deserved a place on this list more than some of the other films, especially " High School Musical 2".
When I saw the video my first thought was "Chicago better be number one!" So glad it was. Also, those who don't like La La Land just don't get it.
1982 & 2014 Annie was a amazing musical. I love Carol Burnett in the 1982 film, she was amazingly cruel as Ms. Hannigan.
You have all of my favorite movies.
1. all 3 High School Musicals
2. Beauty and the Beast
3. The Greatest Show Man
4. Into the Woods
And etc...
These are my childhood!
Into the Woods left out so many great things from the original show, it really hampered the delivery. Especially cutting No More, it would have been great to see James Corden sing that
I couldn’t agree more it wasn’t the worst version of it, but it lacked a lot of the comedy and was just off on the delivery of certain plot points. There were some highlights such as Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, The step family, and Meryl Streep. But other than that the movie was just ok.
@@supernerd1643 Not to mentioned that it got good costumes from Colleen Atwood and some decent sets.
I was trying to narrow down the my favourites on this list, but I couldn’t. Musicals are just perfection
I love LES MISERABLES on stage so much, and have seen it many times. I always sob for at least 20 minutes after it ends.
I had given up hope that it would ever be a film.
When I read the plans were going forward with doing a movie I kept thinking,”Jean Valjean? Who in the world could POSSIBLY do that part justi…oh, of course!! Hugh!! He’s the only one that could do it.”
He was, without question, brilliant. Nobody tops Hugh Hackman. And, being in a dark, practically empty theater I started sobbing earlier than usual.
Now…if only we could get perfect leads, director and production for a film of WICKED before I die I’ll be in heaven.
I wished The Prom was on the list, I recently watched it and it made me laugh, cry, and sing, even though I didn’t know the lyrics. I absolutely loved it. ❤️
Love it even b4 watching❤️
love ur videos!
Thank you!!
Awesome video loved a lot of the pics however do you have your almost number 1’s fandom and Mary Poppins or volleys of my favorite movies and then also you left off Bohemian Rhapsody
La La Land is number one in my opinion. It’s not only my favorite musical of all time, but also my favorite movie of all time
Epic ending for sure!
I think the Greatest Showman should have been higher on this list...it is one of the best musicals on the big screen in recent memory
Really??? The Greatest Showman wasn't the best musicals on the big screen in recent memory. Rather, it's the worst next to Cats 2019, two bad musicals, two of a kind.
Besides, The Greatest Showman is hot garbage🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️. Horrible🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Besides, both bad musicals, The Greatest Showman and Cats, nearly ruined the good reputation of musical genre.
TGS was my favorite when i first watched it, but after multiple rewatches the story feels lacking. Every single song is amazing and i love them, but the parts in between the songs aren't that great
I would put "Across The Universe" higher
Moulin Rouge is my favorite film of all time, next to The Empire Strikes Back. Chicago is in my top 5.
You left out “Hedwig & The Angry Inch”. By all means, though, applaud the needless remakes of remakes while ignoring original material.
Clearly, Hedwig & The Angry Inch should been at least being mentioned as an honorable mentions on this list.
The fact that The Greatest Showman made it on this list (despite the fact that The Greatest Showman is being considered as one the worst musical movies, alongside Cats 2019, given its horrible reception), is really preposterous and pathetic.
Into the Woods introduced me to Billy Magnusson and to this day I still think he needs to be in more things. The man steals every scene he’s in and has shown he can be a leading man in Made for Love.
The fact that the critics didn't like The Greatest Showman is so freaking ironic.
The Last Five Years and Begin Again are underrated
what about music-centered movies? ie, like Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star Is Born, Almost Famous, Sing Street, Bandslam, Lemonade Mouth, School Of Rock and August Rush. They're not an outright musical (ie no spontaneous singing and dancing with a invisible backing track suddenly playing), but music is at the core of the plot and the soundtrack is woven into the main story.
Sing the praises of Sing Street, the most overlooked musical in history.
They should have their own category.
It’s kinda funny how it’s so obviously not Zac Efron’s voice in the first High School Musical
tick tick boom being ONLY number 11 is a TRAGEDY for this list
It’s even more bs that they put Mama Mia over it
pretty good list! my fave is Rent ❤️
In the heights makes me cry -I am not a latino hell I am not even an american but still it hits me so hard 😢
That "A Star is Born" isn't even mentioned breaks my heart. It was nominated for best picture and won best original song.
Hands down! Chicago is the best musical to come around ina 100 years
Yet somehow, there are other great musicals that would compete that spot with Chicago, such as Moulin Rouge! and La La Land.
while I LOVE Chicago, still 1972 Cabaret is my favourite!
West Side Story should’ve been #1. It was spectacular and so much better than the original, except America. Nothing is better than Rita Moreno on the rooftop.
i'm sorry, well i'm not sorry, but in the heights, the greatest showman and tick tick boom are some of the BEST musical movies i have seen and should be way higher. well, they are in my book. obviously there's the classics like mamma mia, hairspray and les mis, and other musicals that i didn't know about. i definitely need to watch chicago.
The Greatest Showman WAS NOT THE BEST and rather, IT WAS THE WORST, next to Cats. Both of these movies nearly ruined the good reputation of the musical genre.
I'm a simple man I see Chicago The Musical in the thumbnail so I click
I'm so happy High School Musical was on this list😍
This means everything to me :)
Hollywood: we make best musicals
Meanwhile Indian movies :
Hold my beer 🍻
“Chicago” renewed my faith in the Hollywood Musical.
Since then, I’d probably say “Hairspray” is my favorite new movie musical while “The King and I” is my favorite classic movie musical.
Nailed it!
Rocky Horror should have made it into the list too, it's fantastic!
It came out well before 2000, so NOT the time period covered by this video.
I was shocked to see “Across the Universe” !! I LOVE that movie
Best list ever! Love it! Whoever made this list, made my day!
Tough, it's still missing something. A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga should have been on the list, and could have knocked out that horrible The Greatest Showman out of the list, for The Greatest Showman is unworthy to be on that list of amazing and good musicals.
I’m so glad Hairspray was on this list because as the list went on I kept saying Hairspray better be on this list because it’s awesome!
hairspray is good
Rock Of Ages should have been there IMO. I love that film.
Did WM forget about A Star Is Born, or is it not considered a musical?
amazing list i love musicals but i think HSM 3 is the best of the trilogy, rocketman should be on top 5 not just a mention and i'm still not over that Taron Egerton was snubbed at the oscars...
And what about Burlesque amazing songs, outfits, great cast and the fact that they snubbed you haven't seen the last of me at the oscars too was very disappointing
In The Heights in #16?? Deserves so much more
Les Mes and Hairspray are my favorites 💕 Classics! 👍👍👍
So does Moulin Rouge! as well.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
The Greatest Showman
High School Musical 3
The Greatest Showman - utter garbage.
A Star Is Born 2018 - way better.
The Last Five years is so good
The Greatest Showman should have been top 10
What a freaking joke. That movie was a woke trash fire garbage. A Star is Born is better being part of the top 10, instead of the garbage that is The Greatest Showman.
Also, The Greatest Showman HAD NO business on being part of top 10 good musical, for The Greatest Showman is the worst musical movie next to Cats 2019.
Bro in the heights always make cry, as a hispanic american listening and watching in the heights just makes me so happy
Okaaayyyy…. But Tick, tick…. Boom! should’ve made the top 10 😕😢😤 Also… HOW IS THE GREATEST SHOWMAN SO LOW???!!!!! 🤯😭🤦🏻♂️ Every single song is AMAZING!!! (The amount of radio plays during its release and current Spotify streams of each proves that…😕). AND I’m personally still BLOWN AWAY by the “Rewrite the Stars” scene, the “The greatest show” scene, the “From now on” scene and the “The other side” scene… 😱🤯❤️
The Greatest Showman was garbage, let alone that its songs were overproduced as crap, to the point it's unbearable. Worse, its songs are full of woke preaching SJW garbage, which insults the intelligence of the audiences.
A Star Is Born 2018 is better off being listed on this list, instead of the garbage that is The Greatest Showman.
@@ajpat9620 Haha! It’s funny… because I think what you’re trying to say there is that “it’s songs are full of woke preaching SJW garbage… which insults MY intelligence!”, am I right???🤨🙄🤣🤦🏻♂️ Cuz that’s what people who say that ACTUALLY mean most of the time…🙄🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Also… the literal definition of “woke” is to “alert to injustice in society, especially racism” (something this movie addresses actually). This, imo means one of a couple of things. One, your not very accepting to people who are different to you, two, you’re probably racist and three… you’re just kind of an asshole…🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️ Also… what does “SJW” even mean??!!!🤣🤦🏻♂️🙄
But you are right, A Star Is Born is a GREAT movie!!!😜🤣❤️
@@ajpat9620 wow! How do you really feel?
@@1AAudits That movie was woke garbage, you ignorant nincapoop.
@@ajpat9620 excuse me? Do you not recognize derision? Sarcasm? When someone is jerking your chain? Busting your balls? Apparently not. I’ve never even seen that movie. Now who’s ignorant? Obtuse? It’s that guy you see in the mirror. Maybe it’s time for a little self-reflection.
Very sad to see that REPO: The Genetic Opera is not on here, even as an honorable mention. GREAT songs. A bit crude, but it is a bit of a horror musical. I REALLY wish it's prequel got greenlit, but no go (and probably not gonna happen 14 years after it's release...)
Repo! The genetic opera should’ve gotten a mention 😓
