Everyone grieves because of Prince Mustafa's death!
The letter which has been found on Mustafa casts Suleiman down. Cihangir's clamour rounds the whole camp and he wants an explanation for the promise he his father made. Rustem barely runs away from the janissaries's anger and gets expelled from Grand Vizier. The people and soldiers in Istanbul starts a revolt against Hurrem and Rustem. Mahidevran gets devastated because of his son's death. Meanwhile, Mihrunnisa fights for his son Mehmet's life after Mustafa. At first, Hurrem enjoys the victory of defeating her enemy, bu then she sheds tears for Mustafa. Suleiman fights with Mustafa's ghost.
Suleiman reads the letter found on Mustafa. Mustafa's words wounds Suleiman deeply. Suleiman thinks his son might be innocent and takes his anger out of Rustem. Rustem hardly saves his own life and gets expelled from grand vizier. Kara Ahmed Pasha gets charged as Grand Vizier.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

She's the main instigator behind the whole execution...Rustem and Mirramah was the willing participants. Always surprising about this narcissistic family - they do the deeds and then they play the innocent/victims...its always someone else who is fault...this family is quite good in not taking responsibility or accountability for their actions. The fact that they all can lie without any quilt or remorse is astonishing

And it's precisely why Mirimah doesn't have the right to play the grieving sister. She has no right to grieve for Mustafa after she played a hand in his death.
Then again, she has once and for all proven herself a loyal daughter and made up to her mother for the "mistake" of being born a female.
"Now that you've done all that, you can take a big rock, tie with some rope around your neck and go fall into the sea."

it was a kill or be killed. Hurrem knew that if Mustafa took the throne he would kill his brothers as is the tradition. She also knew that whichever son took the throne would probably kill his brothers (maybe Chignar would have been spared due to his physical disability). Hurrem does make a good point about the main culprit being Suleiman himself. Even more so when you consider that he was his father.
