It's not as terrible as everybody says. There's a good amount of cringey scenes that could have been avoided, but I did love their chemistry.

After perfection addiction, this one caught my attention and I must say, it was enjoyable, pretty funny and for once the female lead finally had a interesting past with a plot twist toward the end.

I hated the book but loved the movie. The book is incredibly toxic and terribly written. This movie didn't take itself too seriously and I appreciated that. The chemistry between Dylan and Ginny was great.

They had such a great novel to base it on. I get they wanted to do a romcom...but this did not live up to the original story. no character study, not deep enough. the actors did not get a chance to get into it, into anything, plot and structure were too shallow. it's like a series of little clips, but NO SOUL. not the actors fault.

Was this supposed to be an After series parody? Bc that is what this seems like.
Nah, the book came out way before After did. It was a serious story, but the movie took the rom-com route instead. Now this seems like a satire on movies like After and others.
@@wickedbackup Oh ok...that sucks bc this probably would have been a great movie if they didn't try and make it funny. The "funny" parts were so cringe. And having After playing in the background and on a billboard didn't help.
