I installed Ecoflow Powerkit and added 3,150 watts of solar on my 34ft Avion Travel Trailer last June. I have 15kw of batteries and run my air conditioner on the system. Live full time in our rig. In the over 9 months I have not plugged into shore power or a generator. Totally off grid. Full time. Love my Ecoflow Power Kit!
Excellent video, great improvements in the technology.
Wow! Very nice system. I just built my van 1 and 1/2 years a go and is under a Victron System. It is perfect! Now I’m looking at your EcoFlow System and I have to admit, it is simple and very understandable, I would love to have a system like that. Now, when it come to the price, I haven’t checked what that system goes for, but my Victron System is a 300Amp with a MultiPlus 3000v inverter and there is no way I would be able to sell it at the price I purchased it. To buy an EcoFlow. I wish I know about it before, I think that even if both systems are competitive, I would have gone with the EcoFlow. Nice work on your system. 👍🏼
You can't go wrong with a Victron System. Might cost a bit more up front but it's quality hardware.
Excellent video! I have looked everywhere for a video showing real usage especially noise levels of the hub under loads. Would you consider another video showing how loud it gets using the inverter, your X3 in max and eco, etc? I’m trying to decide on an X3 or mini split and the noise of the hub fans. Thanks.
Your overview of this set up is nice and concise, thanks for that... I do have a question.
Ive got the same system 5kWh power kit and when I run wires to say my porch lights, Maxxfan, Espar heater... they arnt working and Im getting "overvoltage errors" on the espar and everything else for that matter. My multimeter reads 26.9vdc coming from each circuit (looks like my set up is 24v...) Maxxfan works great jumped off a 12v drill battery.
Do you have any idea whats going on here?
Any insite would be greatly appreciated.
There's a config setting in the output section to send 12v or 24v to the distribution panel. Sounds like maybe you've got it set to 24v
Hi 😃 i find electrics so confusing so sorry if i sound stupid i dont mean to be i just have a serous problem taking in information like this i allways have and allway will i do try tho not sure why anymore 😂, im going to be living vanlife fulltime soon so i hope im right in saying if i brought the delta pro and the 5kw extra battery that would be enouth power to last us a few weeks at a time before needing charge ?? There is going to be 2 of us using alot of items with heavy use so i hope it can last a few weeks each charge. im from england waiting for sales 😄
Excellent video. We want to put the power kit into our caravan. You say in the video that the power hub has all the fuses. Do we need an extra FI fuse between the power hub and the distribution panel?
No extra fuse needed; it's built into the power-kit
Hi, great video!! Did the Ecoflow come with a 48V power cord for the AC? Did the AC come with it? or did you have to make it. Thanks!!!
Neither came with it. I ordered one from campervan HQ
Best of luck. Nothing but issues since installation in my Sprinter. Their China based CS is difficult to deal with to say the least.
What issues did you have?
@@whitewatervans First, the power hub failed. Replaced it. Second, the battery died with a short circuit message. The display console is glitch and stays on only 5 seconds and shuts off. The China based customer support will only take calls but the real support takes weeks to address issues. Their best advice seems to be upgrading software and the firmware. Which in it self is hard to do since you have to connect to a network. Use hotspot on your phone but their server is also very busy or slow. That being said, you may have a better luck. Good luck.
Looks like you did not go with the factory recommended 4" clearance at the bottom of the hub. Just to manage your space?
Correct, space was tight. There is a gap behind the battery for air to flow up and I installed AV fans in the cabinet to circulate air
Is it possible to power up Ecoflow battery dirrectly from Nations 48v 100A alternator?
There is an alternator input port to charge the EcoFlow but it only accepts up to 1600 watts. There is a second alternator input that also accepts another 1600 watts. It might be possible to run two output wires off your 4800 watt alternator to get up to 3200 watts of power sent to the EcoFlow; though I've never tried that.
What solar panels are you using?
I've used a few brands. I like EcoWorthy and NewPowa

One 5kw Ecoflow or 10kw from other leading brands for the same price… (UK)
That hasn't been my experience here in the US. I've found the ecoflow to be very cost competitive to other quality brands
@@whitewatervans Direct prices in US: EcoFlow LFP 5kw battery $5000 from their store, 2x Renogy 24v 200ah $3500(for 2) from theirs. 🤷♂️
@@EvoCarl don't forget to add b2b charger, solar charge controller, 3kw inverter, high output shore charger, battery heaters, ac and DC fuse distribution boxes, and a touch screen control panel. You may find the ecoflow more cost effective once all that is factored in. Not to mention the time it takes to wire up and configure all that other stuff too.
I Am building my van and have purchased the EcoFlow 10kw kit. I’m now being told that an aux alternator cannot be installed on my 2022 Sprinter 4x4. What ‘s going on with that ?

@@whitewatervans sorry I don’t have Facebook for company security reasons so I can’t respond….. I just tried this to see if it works
If I am reaching you is there another way we can communicate?
@@user-mm6qe4ks8s you can email me at whitewatervans@gmail.com
My understanding is that you are running a 12V System and going to use a 48V System for your AC unit and this is capable via the third Battery connection port, correct.
What is the AC unit you are going to use? Are there any other concerns for running this AC unit?
Correct. any 48v AC unit will work, I used Nomadic Cooling X3
Is that third terminal a 48v dc out? Would love clarification on exactly how you have the 48v circuit connected. Thanks!
@@brocio correct this is 48v DC out going direct to 48v AC unit. It's already fused internally in the power-hub.
I am looking at my Ecoflo power kit in my living room. Of course uninstalled. I plan to buy the X3 soon. Your video was very helpful with some key questions I had. Thank you
