I think anyone with an understanding of the street level dark arts of the modern world is capable of making an explosive device. It all comes down to motive for the device and scale of the device needed.
Anyone who's dumped a pressurised can with flammable liquid and propellant in onto a fire and boom, you're worthy of a basic pyromaniac certificate.
Duct taping stones or ball bearings onto device and that gets you the next certificate up, progressing like a good little scout. But the more adventurous and intelligent your are, the sooner you get your Theodore J. Kaczynski badge but you'd also need your anarchist and mathematics prodigy badges as they tie in with that hahaha.

      To clarify.
      IMEI Number. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Mobile_Equipment_Identity
Erik is quite correct. Swapping the SIM will change your mobile number, but the phone will always have the same IMEI number which is burnt into the phone. Normal users will see a phone number change. Network providers and SIGINT agencies will track IMEI as well as number. If one IMEI then makes calls to two separate groups using two different mobile numbers/SIM cards, that will link the two groups irrespective of the SIM/number used.
Basically if you are trying to keep your girlfriend and wife apart then fine, but if you are hoping to avoid national law enforcement agencies by swapping SIMs in the same phone, forget it.

Actually, IMEI tracking is less reliable on older/cheaper phones. The infrastructre of the telecom carriers are very rudimentary and take time to update the IMEI when a new SIM is put in. Even for a brand new phone, the back-end takes at least 24 hours to update the IMEI that the SIM card is associated with. On older phones, it's not uncommon for the IMEI to be completely missed and not updated at all.

Dual SIM phones often, if not always, have two IMEI numbers due to them having two radios. Might be useful if you want one phone but need two identities, but that being said, I'm sure there's a way to still link the two and you'd be better off with two cheap dumbphones than a dual SIM smartphone.

I’ve actually had a messy little I incident with superglue where I got some on my thumb and a couple fingers. During that period of a couple hours where I had superglue on by hands, I notice my fingers felt plastic-y and smooth, as well as not leaving the usual fingerprint-shaped smudges on my phone screen. I assume if you did it right you could basically stop yourself from leaving fingerprints on surfaces with the superglue.

Like i have mentioned before a serious storm on the way really is like a training run for total collapse, a week before projected landfall people lose thier minds the shelves are empty at the grocery and you will be lucky to find fuel even a few days into that week. 2nd half of the week the tensions rise high, 20yrs ago when i first moved here i saw 2 guys nearly kill one another over bottled water. Since then my EDC has taken a change to what it is now. I carry medical gear on my belt even as i have seen a good number of FEMA level emergency situations and that has geared me to having an emergency mindset with my EDC. Just has i carry a full medkit in my car, just in case i say roll up on a nasty car accident and the locals have not yet arrived (i was an EMT myself for years). - Button compass.
    - A couple of water purification tabs to chuck inside the condom during the second obvious emergency use.
    - Wrap the seal of the tin with a couple of feet of electrical tape. This makes the tin waterproof, stops it coming open in your pocket, and gives you a couple of feet of electrical tape.

A trick I learned in boy scouts was using pill bottles to make water-resistant kits (you could glue a thin sheet of rubber to the cap's underside to make it more water tight). I had three bottles; one each for first-aid, fire starting, and general emergency preparedness. Put the least used stuff at the bottom and the most used stuff at the top, if you can. as a plus, you can wrap duck tape around the outside to have a good bit on hand.
Little baggies with a couple doses of meds in them (pain killers, 'scrip's you can't go w/o, tums, etc.) would not go amiss.
Multi-tools are good all around, but sometimes having a folding or sheath knife is better. For me, I use a Buck 110 with a plastic handle. It's cheaper and lighter than the regular 110, but probably not as robust. I mostly use it for breaking down boxes and such. I believe it's a $20 exclusive at Walmart.
On that note, a razor blade (or a few) would be very handy in either kit. Put some tape over the edge to avoid it cutting things in your kit. Even a low profile box cutter like a Screwpop or one of those cheap, dime a dozen folded sheet steel ones would make using them easier. Folding travel scissors would be a good add for more delicate cutting.
A sewing kit might not be a bad idea either. You can buy travel sized repair kits at Walmart. They have a few needles and a few tiny spools of thread. I had a rip in my suit pants just before my cousin's wedding and that little spool of thread saved my bacon.
If I think of anything else, I'll add it. More people need to be prepared for emergencies, and EDC kits like these can be life savers.

I guess it matters a lot of what you EDC for. For me, it's just for getting through a (work)day most of the time. Stuck in traffic, working late, my XYZ broke. Quick repairs for body and basic stuff.
2 aspirin and 2 ibuprofen. Out of all the EDC stuff I have carried over the years this is the number 1 most used item. Clearing a headache, suppressing a starting fever or helping out that female coworker with her monthly visit. This and a basic band-aid will actually cover 80% of first aid kit needs.
Water... yes, water. I don't leave a building without topping up my water bottle, and I tend to take a few swigs while doing so to keep myself hydrated. I got stuck in traffic for 3,5 hours once. You will be extremely happy to have ANY water. Also a bigger item but again if your body is failing this could get you back up and running.
A snack. Something like a granola bar for your backpack or if you're going pocket / mint tin style just a single sachet of sugar. Get that little boost of energy.
Very fine braided fishing line with a hook. From fishing car keys out of a storm drain to fishing small fish from a pond or even just pulling the old flying dollar bill trick... it will do a lot.
Needle and thread. Attach something to something else... like your covert ops listening device to a lampshade... or one side of the crotch of your pants to the other... or skin to skin. Not the MOST useful item, but still a good one that takes virtually no space or weight.
A gentlemens knife. Dunno what one would call it, but just a tiny pocket knife with a blade no longer than your finger (put away in a bag inside a bag to prevent accusations of having a weapon handy). Cut your apple, clean a string off your shirt, getting a stuck thing un-stuck, shimming a door. I guess a multitool might do most of this, but to me those are usually too clunky anyway with too many useless options. Check your local laws before carrying a "weapon" around, and consider the type of place you will visit and how they might react to even a small knife. Similarly... carrying a slim jim is going to put you in more trouble than you want compared to the benefit of it in most cases. One of the most rogue-ish things to do is make sure nobody can identify you as a rogue. Carrying a slim jim in a tacticool pack is a pretty sus move in that regard.

a tiny first aid kit that is wallet sized, pocket sized multitool, pocket knife, and a portable charger are the most useful things I ever carry. There is always a situation where someone cut their finger, needs tylenol, needs to unscrew something, open something, needs a bottle opener or needs to charge their phone. Always

Thank you! I’m working on packing my entire writing office into a backpack and this gave me some good ideas. I have a small stainless steel 32g verbatim on my keychain (because ‘the cloud’ never works, well not always). I love credit card sized gadgets (saw a folding knife on another site) as well. I’m not an RPG player so I’d substitute 4 sided dice and become a roving craps game. lol and thanks for the name of the molle bag.

I feel like you're missing the real power of the SD card. Sure, you could use it for bitcoin, but cash is easy enough to carry, at least in quantities that your everyday gray man can set aside. Sure, you could put malware on it, but it's hard to fathom a scenario in which that would be needed in a pinch.
The real power is storage of information. There are hundreds of millions of books out there. Most wouldn't be super useful in a pinch. But many would. The SAS Survival Guide, The Foxfire Books, The Anarchist's Cookbook, hunting guides, trap-making guides, simple chemistry books, instructions on improvised firearms, etc. You could even jam some 3d printer plans on there.
Note: use a MicroSD card in an SD Card adapter. It'll work fine in a computer, but in a real pinch, you can put the MicroSD into the burner phone to access the data. Also, keep the burner phone in a faraday bag. A burner phone is only as good as it's anonymity. And a faraday bag SHOULD protect the phone from a mild EMP. It won't have network access, but it can still read the Micro SD card.

AND carry a universal adapter for USB, MicroUSB, Lightning, etc that lets you plug in an SD card. So you can plug that memory into ANYTHING. Keep your memory shielded as well. If someone hasn't already, somebody really should compile a list of books that we should make sure survives an apocalypse. While you focused mostly on things necessary for survival, it should include math, history, art, music, philosophy, science, medicine, etc.

So I have watched this a couple times and really was trying to figure out how this is an ever day carry. As someone who actually has been refining an EDC for several years the ones here are more like E&E or SERE kits. Very few items here I would actually use everyday not even for a roguish task.
EDIT: My kit really only has a charger, laptop, multi tool, small amount of tape/paracord and snacks/water bottle.
