    Normally I’m fine with voices like that in undubbed anime, but it just doesn’t fit here IMO. I prefer Cassandra Lee Morris, but I can’t unhear Morgana.

    I CANNOT believe the English is actually better than the Japanese voice for once. She’s too wordy and low voiced in the JP version for a pop metal girl.

    The ENG VA is one of the EXTREMELY rare instances where the VA is capable of sounding good both in-game, and via cinematics.
    Arc Sys definitely lucked out this time, cause God knows most of the VAs for their games are fucking trash.

      @@thomastan6641 That was something you could do in the original Blazblue (I'm not sure about the others I didn't play them). Each character you could set their language individually.

      Partly because speaking English shapes your vocal mechanics and make you have lower voice. Yes anime voice acting is definitely a factor but Korean and Chinese women also tend to have higher-pitch voices than white women of the same age.

      @@yoshikagekira2486 Because I'm in favor of original voice acting. English can't be used in any way in Japanese games, because those are Japanese games. There's subtitles, that's it, that's enough.

      @@yoshikagekira2486 You know, songs are one thing, but when the voiceover is original, which was conceived with its own meaning and when they try to do it in another language, in most cases it looks either ridiculous or sounds so that it bleeds from the ears. Especially when it's in the original language, you hear more feelings, and when it's in English, in this case Elphelt, she sounds like a teenager voicing in English, while in Japanese the voice sounds more adult.
