- Have you ever wanted to trick a video game? Today I am playing The Sims 4 a game that released in 2014 and rapidly became regarded as the best modern life simulator. Amazingly it has had little to no competition in the last decade. It has however received hundreds of updates, patches, DLCs, bug fixes, glitch removals and exploit removals. This now means the game costs a wonderful $1000 to own all the content. Today I will be breaking the game and showing my favourite sims 4 glitch that allows you to break the reality of the game, trick it into giving you money and have a lot of funny moments along the way!

Which if I am honest is a little bit ominous. "Play With Life and discover possibilities" Straight up sounds like a horror line or a god game. Of course I guess this is kind of a god game!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced gameplay series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold and infinite money all in a fantastic montage. A big nice graveyard is a necessity in sims 4. It is important as the kitchen

Sims 4 exploits are wild. Queueing up the same interaction repeatedly can be used in a few places; one of my favorites is to get a few levels in Writing skill and then queue up several "Write Love Letters" to someone (there's a cooldown, but the queued ones will still go through). They can hate you when they go to bed, then wake up to an inbox full of romantic spam and be absolutely smitten.

You guys wanted laws to make it harder to evict you and then it became impossible for small landlords to afford the legal fight to evict deadbeats so they sold to massive holding companies who got a monopoly on rental properties and jacked the rents to the stratosphere. Lie in the bed you made.

To be fair, Sims can make a few hundred bucks a day as well, depending on the career. It's very much not realistic.

horrifically....he's not that wrong. my buddy moved near (not even in) a major city, an apartment smaller than his $750 one here was legit $2000 a month. and even in nowheresville where I live, apartments like mine one are around $1200+. Depending on where spiff lives, a flat might legitimately cost around that much. housing prices are fucking ridiculous nowadays. the apartment prices around my area have doubled in the last 7 years -_-

Spiff has done quite a few get rich quick schemes in The Sims 4, and I have to say this is probably the one that involved the least amount of human suffering. Also the fastest. Well done?

When you added all the mailboxes I thought you were going to turn it into a tax haven like those Holland places that somehow house over a hundred businesses.
I thought he was just dividing it up to host multiple tenants in a space designed for one, and saying "Hang on a minute, that's not a Sims exploit, landlords already do that!", but he surprised me with where it went.
Was hoping we would see Skyrim or Sims videos again soon. Again, the Spiffing Brit exploits my dreams to gather a view, like, and comment on the video

The best money glitch is still working up to the money tree, and when it's ready to be harvested, just put it in inventory and you'll get all the fruits from the tree, making it possible to plant another 10 trees or so.

I like how the megastructure jail cell Spiff built was meant to be an exaggeration but I know student accommodation in London is much much worse and costs more
I usually do a silly little thing where if you manage people in the household, you can move in a person or move out a person from household to household, you can just take all of their money along with it. Do this with every household in the game, and now you have a lot of money. Not cheating tho so achievements are still available!
Spiff has done a vid about that actually ages ago, courting the wife of the richest family, moving in with them and then kicking them all out of their own home
There’s another glitch I found where if you move in a house hold of one then edit the house and merge another household of one it will give you 9999999 dollar, at least it worked a year ago

Unfortunately you can't have more than 6 units on a single property without cheating
So i loved this, my wife plays sims 4 religiously and loved this, you should definitely make more sims content
The funny thing is that there is actually a rich family that shows up in multiple Sims games called the Landgraabs, Lucy would have fit right in
I love how the ultimate scam is turning Sims into prisoner architect
Another way to use the move household in to get lots of money is by building a house you want then building basements full of fridges that are expensive then moving the sim into the house and selling all the fridges in the basement. This keeps achievements on and my be a little simpler then doing this amazing renting exploit. Great video by the way, fun to watch.

And Spiff turns The Sims 4 into Prison Architect. But I suppose that after turning Prison Architect into a tea plantation, a tree farm, and a warden cloning facility, it only makes sense to restore the original game concept... using a different game, of course.

Wait... they finally made cheats disable achievements? Did they also make it so your achievements aren't linked to each new save? 😂
Oh, also not using cheats disables them on Xbox, I don't think they ever worked, honestly.
It's so weird that the sims developers encourage cheating but it disables achievements on console. Plus not every cheat disables achievements. On PC/Mac you get random achievements regardless of cheating.

I always find myself chuckling at your Sims videos. I don't play it myself, but it is very fun to watch you play such a perfectly balanced game, without any exploits whatsoever.
I love how the first exploit was for the mailboxes and then it turned into Spiff discovering a another exploit that's even worse (or better), this stuff never gets old!

Im sure someone has already mentioned this but a few seconds of scrolling didn't reveal them so. You can actually fill all those bedrooms! With rental properties you can split one plot into multiple rental properties, and you can pick which individual rental each room belongs to and set rooms (like the kitchen in this case) to be communal. The Craggs don't need all that space for just them.
This is basically "Can't pay we'll take it away" in Sims 4😂

I love how the game refusing to simulate the actual socio-economic consequences of landlording (driving people into poverty by demanding they pay for the shelter they need to live) is what enables the rule violation free money glitch.
Just recently played this and they actually did some improvements, I am in shock.
I went to school at leicester and cambridge, and live in the US. I can fully believe that "No Ghost" is definitely a rule that you will 100% have to pay a fine for in any housing unit.
As a person knowing the prices for rent in Munich, this is alot less ridiculous than you might think

Pretty sure this actually works in real life with modern monetary theory.
If you live in a place that has rent subsidies (where the government helps to pay your rent if you can't afford it instead of trying to fix the pricing issues), then with some dubious fiddling you could pull it off.

If you have the Horse Ranch dlc, you can make a ton of money just by harvesting all the prairie grass you can get to. You can find nectar in the grass, then you just let the nectar sit in your inventory until its "finely aged" and sell it for thousands of simoleons.
