The heartbreak Oliver felt when they told him they didnt grow up together aw man
Mark Guerrero he mentioned that they wanted to go pick him back up so maybe when he moved out they wouldn’t have grown up together per say but they would’ve known each other had eachother to go to and vent or advice cause the age difference wouldn’t have made such a big difference once Mia got older
Tyler Fraser well he can blame Williams grandparents for that, Oliver sent messages to William and I'm guessing his grandparents kept it all a secret
@Mark Guerrero Plus I doubt his grand parents would give part custody to her even if shes a good mother
its funny. Now that oliver restarted the universe, with moira alive, how did william and mia grew? how did felicity and moira work? was Samantha now alive? we saw in spinoff episode, they were both rich and like celebrities lol
Barry went through the same thing with Nora when he found out 25 years later he's still gone and missed all of Nora's life.
The heartbreak in Oliver’s eyes when he realized they didn’t grow up together and William never came back... 😭
That's one thing I'm happy he fixed for the new universe. Once he found out he made sure it didn't happen
Except remember when that Willam told Roy after he left with his grandparents he never saw or heard from Oliver and felicity again he was wrong he did have at least one last chance to at least hear from them again but he refused it remember Oliver said he tried to call him before he went into Mia’s room to see her one last time and left but William refused
After William tries to explain Oliver about time travel
*Oliver forgets he has Sara Lance, Ray Palmer, and Barry Allen on speed dial*
Well, Sara and Barry
I think time travel via god is a slightly new scenario
Hero Nerd i was thinking the exact same thing
@@alipaloba398 Yeah, but he litterally knows several people who can time travel, i excpected Oliver to say he was calling Barry when he was about to call Felicity
*Literally on speed dial*
"where'd she get that from?"
"Mom? I guess?" LOL Watching the father and son joke around like that is so great.
I love that part!
Minute?
Funniest line ever! 😂
But I'm pretty sure she got that from oliver's side. Their aunt thea
Mr wait.... is Moira and Thea how Mia got her name?
Oliver calls Barry.
Oliver: Barry I kinda have a situation here. These kids showed up and said there me and Felicitys from the future.
Barry: I've had that happen before.
Oliver: Of course you have
Rehashing plot points bless you CW
I mean, that's exactly why he WOULD call Barry. He knows Barry has experience with these kinds of things.
"Nora showed up at my door one years ago, I can help you."
Of course 🤣
Lol mines was basically:
Barry: Look Ollie, I had nothing to do with it this time.
I love how William (unlike Mia) is really happy to see his dad. I feel like so many shows like to add drama between family members so it's just nice to see a son who earnestly loves his dad and is happy to see him.
I think it's because he feels guilty about not answering his father's phone calls in season 7
i love it because he got to fix some of his regrets. he lost time with his dad because of his decision to live with his grandparents, and he carried that guilt for years. now he has a chance to let his dad know how important he is to him. i love their relationship even more than Oliver’s with mia.
I think William is just happy because he knew his dad as a kid, knew he was a hero and that he lost him so long ago that is just happy to spend time with him. He realized early that he has to go back to a time his dad is dead, and just getting 1 last chance to spend time with Ollie & tell him about the things he’s accomplished since he’s passed is all he wants. My mom died when I was young too, and I would love this opportunity.
well i think that when william was a teenager he wasnt happy that oliver was his dad and spent so much time hating his dad that I think he didnt want to make the same mistake twice
@@moneylover318 yeah like later in the show adult William been that way because he got to a point to where he never thought he lose him and because he was young and mad at his dad like Mia is felt like he always want to choose to be a hero instead of a father. And now as an adult he regret that he doesn't have his dad in his life.
No one is talking about how great Stephen Amell is this season. He truly is the best actor in the Arrowverse, and I wish people gave him more credit. So many people think he is just one dimensional and doesnt emote once, but man when he does he does it the best. I’m gonna miss him
He is good!! But also Grant Gustin
I feel like the best actors AND characters in the arrowverse are Stephen (Ollie), Paul (Quentin) and Tom (Wells)
No particular order tho
@@Mauricio44 all those are right. But also Grant Gustin. They are the real MVPs of the Arrowverse.
Well he built the whole universe...
@@TheTommy9898 true true true
I love how William always refers to Felicity as his “mom” 😍
im dying every time he says mom
I kinda find it weird, I totally get that some people have a great relationship with stepparents and that's fine, but Mia and William have different mothers and I always think about that
@Mark Guerrero It seems like it wasnt very long but Oliver was in jail for awhile and Felicity was all William had during that time. plus there is the fact that tv shows rarely make any sense so...LOL
@@oindrila101 I almost forgot william spent most of his time with Felicity while Oliver was in prison.
@Mark Guerrero Well his mom did die when he was quite young still. Felicity became a second mom and was there for him when he and his dad didn't always get along. Plus the part where they spent a lot of time together while on the run from Ricardo Diaz while Oliver was in prison.
Wow. Stephen Amell is amazing. That smile before “I know, buddy”? I’m in tears.
I thought that smile was great too. Seemed like he was thinking it was great William was comfortable enough to tell him.
Well I always wanted to see William come out to him to his dad, but the fact that Oliver knew and chose to let his teen son be angsty with him because of it makes Oliver a great dad
Yeah, I love that there is no judgment there, just acceptance
It's the 21st century, most people in the West doesn't have a problem with it.
@@Mukation You'd be surprised how bad it still is out there
@@Fallenintospacey definitely... let's just say that I have the "privilege" of witnessing people like that on a daily basis...
@@CyberianFaux I'm sorry to hear that, hope it will get better someday
Oliver's tone when he asks William to tell him something good about the future is kind of hilarious.
Ms Linda Luu Reminds me of when he was mayor he used that same tone
It was a good acting moment. Great portrayal of grief and mental exhaustion
Doesnt matter where or when I rewatch this scene, the smile Oliver has on his face and “Yeah buddy, I know” when William says he’s gay always makes me cry. The fact that Oliver is a cold ruthless killer but loves his children unconditionally no matter how they feel about themselves, it sheds a tear and makes me think of Oliver as a great role model.
Oliver WAS a cold blooded killer. Back when he had no emotional baggage weighing him down back in Season 1. Then as the show progressed he tried to stop killing, but always killed at least one person every season (minus Season 7, I think).
@@darkdetective1939 exactly
@@darkdetective1939 well he did "kill" in season 6 ep 18 where he was hallucinating Adrian Chase and himself + other characters during his hallucinations because of Cullens giving him Vertigo which made him become The Hood again but only briefly
@@hxnaldo Very true. I almost forgot about that episode.
This scene, him first meeting his kids in the bunker, and about 5 billion other scenes in the show make me cry or give me goosebumps every time I watch them.
All the scenes between Oliver and William were great in this episode.
Reminds me of Oliver and Diggle
@@blazexknd611 yeah. Always and will always love the onscreen natural chemistry between Diggs and Oliver. Adult William has the same chemistry. Natural, genuine.
Yeah but its weird when he calls him dad considering william should be 34 at that point that is the same age as oliver
Oliver could literally know exactly what to do here after like one text to Barry
Iris would probably be a better choice because Nora wanted nothing to do with her, but she got through. Barry would still be able to help in all l though.
Before he even texts Barry Barry's there
🅼🅴🆂🆂 🆄🅿 🆃🅸🅼🅴 🆃🆁🅰🆅🅴🅻 🅱🅰🅱🆈
Lol
But Barry's time travel is related to the speed force, and the and this obviously not
Mia has these problems and hate toward Oliver
Oliver: ..........i died so there was that 😂
ryan Lol, perfect description
Oliver and Mia at the flash’s therapist just sitting there.
Oliver: I feel like she doesn’t want open up to me
Mia: You were dead my entire life
Therapist: How did you hear about me
Who tf has control over death. Its okay to be upset about the situation but not directly upset with Oliver for something outside of his control thats frickin illogical and a little self centered when he obviously didn't want to abandon them. Life is hard grow tf up Mia
@@marclee82 lol the way you wrote the comment is like you have no feelings. mia does not know the details. From her point of you, oliver left and felicity-mia had to live together alone in that loft.
@@marclee82 well that’s not what she grew up thinking and they said that in this scene. he just disappeared without a trace. she mentioned before that she truly did believe her dad was a hero at one time, but she just couldn’t comprehend how he could choose to be a hero over choosing to be with his family. then she got out into star city where they hated vigilantes and that just made her angrier about her dad “abandoning” her and her mom to be a hero (and evidently not a good one since the city he was trying so hard to save still went to crap)
Love how Oliver now knows how Felicity and Dig used to feel dealing with him since now Mia is the same way he used to be
oliver's eyes sparkle so much in this episode.
the emotional toll is heavy on him because every bad thing happened to his kids, was because he wasnt there.
he is heartbroken that he couldnt make his kids see themselves like he sees them, and the ultimate breaking point is when oliver realized that since he was missing, william never had the backup he needed about himself, from his father, he never got to make sure william feels and knows he is loved and cared for, you can hear his voice crack when he says william never got the chance to feel comfortable to come out them, and oliver almost can't hold himself from crying.
Love that he calls Felicity mom. 😍😍
William: I'm gay.
Oliver: Hi gay, I'm dad.
William: Oh no...
Oliver: We're catching up on 20 years of dad jokes!
Oh no
XD
Y couldn't this be in the show? Dad jokes are quality and very underrated especially in these moments
Dude. I wanna see this happen. And oliver gonna be like: yeah, this is happening.
And then william be like: *facepalm*
"because I died" Oliver seems to have accepted his death
Yea I could see why Bc in crisis Oliver sacrifices him him for Barry and Kara.
The look of happiness on Oliver’s face when Williams comes out to him then the look of depression when he realizes William never got the chance to really tell him
Amell is truly one of the best
2:32 was one of the best deliveries of stephen amel of all time
the best part about this season is oliver.. He looks more like a protective father than a vigilante.. and I can't get over this season .. season 8888888888
When Oliver said I know I shed tears instantly, the way his smile intertwined with the soundtrack, it shows he’s the coldest and deadliest killers out there but he is comfortable with his son being gay. I love that part
Oliver’s face of love and acceptance, just melts my heart. This scene always makes cry, it’s such a heartwarming moment. 🥰
Also when William explains that he never met Mia until recently his face of heartbreak. I swear it’s the little things like that makes it more worth watching.
Oliver's face when William tells him that him and Mia didn't grow up together 😭
0:35 The way he said this line literally broke me……….like all the familial hope he had in his eyes shattered in just a few seconds
Stephen Amell’s acting is beyond amazing. He deserves WAY more respect.
Who are you calling?
Felicity
You can’t
Why?
She’s not in the casts this season
She will be back though.
🅼🅴🆂🆂 🆄🅿 🆃🅸🅼🅴 🆃🆁🅰🆅🅴🅻 🅱🅰🅱🆈
Yh I'm glad she didnt come and ruin the season. In the end she is truly selfish, she left her own children just to go to oliver. It wasnt even oliver's wish, he wanted his family to be together and that's it. Season 1 definetly was the best or second best season because of his darkness
@@Asferprivate the season was not great anyways for many fans. felicity raised both of them without oliver for 20+ years. She fulfilled olivers wish. So she deserved some happiness with oliver. and in case you forgot, re watch the last scene, oliver was waiting for her.
LMAO
This is another one of those few *GENUINE* heart felt moments in Arrow. Very rarely do I feel this way on this show, but here.... it's a perfect example.
There is a LOT of genuine heart in first 3 seasons and the future scenes.
I just love how William calls felicity mom so naturally 😭😭😭😭😍😭
"you disappeared" yeah he disappeared in the making of a new multiverse.
I love how the first thing William did when he seen his dad was hug him. In fact I love every scene with Oliver and William
I love that WIlliam called Felicity 'Mom'!
Oliver's face when William was coming out to him than a wave of sadness since he couldnt have been there for him. Oliver would have been the best parent
I love how will says mom when refering 2 felicity😍
Best guess? Felicity & Oliver probably had Barry keep tabs on William. That's how they knew what was in their son's life.
Stephen Amell better fucking win some awards because his acting this season has been absolutely fantastic
DC Comics: "We can't have characters marry and have kids because it limits those characters."
DC TV: "Here's yet another great family moment from our MC, who's married, has an ex-wife, and 3 kids. All on a show that gets consistently solid ratings and largely good reviews."
DC Comics: "Wait, that's illegal!"
Edit because youtube autoformat is fail
😂
Who?
i did not see at it first but look at mias expression after looking at oliver-felicity photo. she is a bit shocked seeing her young mother happy and smiling with oliver
Love how William opens up to his dad a lot more.
I love how Williams first two things to tell his dad are probably the first two things he always wished he could have told him, and you can almost see that weight lifted off of him.
This final season really was amazing. It really hit the bullseye
Is like Barry arc with Nora
Guess is time for Oliver to meet his kids
I’m sobbing this scene hurts bruh 😭RIP Ollie
I wonder if William will have a chance to interact with his younger self, maybe give himself some advice or something
Maybe like let your father in
I kinda get the feeling this would have been a good episode for a flash cameo.
Yes
Oliver would have been a much better father than Robert.
I think that's the part that hurts the most. Oliver was so much better of a man than Robert was; he loved his kids, but there was so much wrong with the way Robert lived his life. Oliver could've had the chance to be an amazing father, for so much longer than the time he was given.
Who're you calling?
Barry
Why him out of all people?
Because he's the expert at screwing up the timeline
“You know?” “Yea Felicity is a tech wizard. You thought deleting your search history would hide it from her?”
I love how William considers felicity mom ❤
these scenes were incredible 💚💚💚
Family reunion
With her tone and hairstyle doesnt Mia looks like a young Thea?
Rodrigo Barra almost like they’re related
@@billy9075 LMAO
I loved this show major part of my teenage years
I love how Oliver is so accepting when William comes out to him.
Makes me wonder if Pre Lian Yu Oliver would never be that way
If Oliver had problems with gay people, he never would've accepted Sara or Curtis on his team.
@@williamplante6734 It's no doubt that Oliver tommy and Laurel probably knew about saras sexuality since they were children but never told anyone else
I think he would. There are too many LGBT people in Oliver's life for him to have a problem with them.
Such a feel good moment and touching great scene
One of my favorite moments in the show is when William comes out here.
Oliver was so happy to be part of that moment.
Imagine William wondering and wanting for years to tell him that after Oliver’s death. And then finally getting to do it. Some sort of dream come true!
This was a beautiful scene. I wish I didn't watch it originally with so much resentment at the fact they didn't stay true to the source material
Omg I’m at season 6 but this is making me cry 😭
Me too
Stephen Amell acting was absolutely perfect
“I didn’t just turn out, I came out!
It's sad because at this point oliver knows he does in fact die, no surviving like diggle said in episode 1
@Gamer ForFun I hope 🙏
William: Who are you calling?
Oliver: Felicity!
Oliver's calling Barry instead
Barry: Yeah?
Oliver: Barry, i have a problem: my kids from the future are in town and i don't know how to deal with it. Can you help me?
I need this. I need this so much.
Oliver: "Barry, you really did it this time"
Barry confused: "I did nothing, what are you talkin about?"
Oliver: "My own grown up kids just came to visit me..."
Barry: "Ohh, thanks god that i am not the only one..."
Fantastic interaction
I can't stop crying this is so sad
I really like when the shows have there kids travel from the future to meet there parents
Stephen Amell's acting is why they seriously should have him as the DCEU Green Arrow.
Sadly though, I think only he fits into the DCEU's style/mood out of the rest of the Arrowverse.
The point of a shared universe is for everyone to feel different, not the same. Is it unique and a cool idea to treat everyone seriously? Yes and different than Marvel. One unified vision. But the arrowverse did that too and it idk.
Comic book green arrow is a great character and I want him but I also wouldn't mind your idea. Maybe a more serious comic green arrow that looks the part and also cracks wise. Like Justin hartley.
Anything if I were Oliver I would call a up Barry because he knows about the time-travel stuff more than anybody
I find it funny that Oliver is supposed to die yet in the original comic its Barry and supergirl thats probably the biggest lol ever
he made a deal with the monitor
He made a deal, him in place of Barry.
Oliver was wrote out of continuity in the comic
Son: Dad, I'm gay,
Dad: Oh, ok, as long as you're happy, I'm happy,
Son: I'm also a conservative who voted for Trump when he ran.
Dad: Get out, you are no son of mine.
seeing oliver n older william bond makes me so happy lol
I was like dude call Barry he knows about Time Travel
Vidit Jain and kids from the future
Alright I'll binge watch Arrow again
What I found so heartwarming in this clip and is that Oliver accepts William for being gay I find that so heartwarming I really do
Last season broke my heart
Dude this is actually sad Oliver never gets the chance to watch his kids grow up
Protect them at all cost.
Did anyone notice that William called Felicity mom at 2:07?
Because she is, biology means nothing
Miss you Ollie.......
why'd it take so long for me to realize the actress playing Mia was also the one playing Clary in Shadowhunters lol
Barry and Oliver both got to meet their daughters from the future
That was one of the best moments in this episode when William told Oliver he was gay .And Oliver's I know Buddy
At 2:47 when i first watched the series i laughed so much when he said there is something i need to tell u and he says im gay it was such a curve ball 😂
The way mia reacts when Oliver says they grew up together, was like.
Yeah right. Yet another child hood trauma you imposed on me you Arse 😂😂😂
Adorei 🤩
Oliver saw Williams search history before he left with his grandparents.
You can just see the pain Oliver is feeling when he finds out that William and Mia just found out about each other. Great acting Stephen
When Mia's around William refers to Felicity as "Felicity." When it's just him and Oliver he refers to Felicity as "Mom."
OMG!!!😭😭😭😭
He doesn't call Sara or flash cause he made a deal period
Should’ve called barry, he knows time travel
i REALLY wish William could fight. The fact that they under trained him and over compensated by making Mia a league assassin is wild.
Oh my god Oliver Queen smiling is the best thing ever
Is it just me or does Stephan Ammel deserves more?
Not returning for Season
9
Final season is currently airing
Have the episode aired yet
Justice Fox-Roper yeah last night
Poor Oliver
William: I’m gay
Oliver: I’m a human so I don’t care and I knew
Anyone else got a DIOR Robert Pattinson ad?
shut up I'm not crying youre crying :')
